Great location on quiet street in charming neighborhood. Sunny, cheerful house with views of bay and an open floor plan, large sectional sofa with big screen TV! Great house for kids and adults. Newly remedied downstairs bath. Large LD washer/dryer on main level. 3 blocks from shore, 5 blocks from pool, and 6 blocks from charming downtown Belfast. Free WIFI and Netflix! 2 large BRs upstairs with full bath. 1 large bedroom downstairs with full bath. Have a cookout on the outdoor gas grill, while the kids play badminton in the yard.

Great for a family, girls get-a-way, or 2 to 3 couples. Three Queen beds, 3 twin beds, 1 twin sleeper sofa.

Yard is large enough for a game of frisbee and deck is private from the street. There is 1/2 circle driveway in front for easy unloading and off-street parking, however the house is close enough to shopping and entertainment that no car is needed.

Why Liz chose Belfast

Maine is one of the prettiest places on earth, and Belfast is a picture perfect town.

What makes this house unique

This house has the convenience of being a newer property while located in the charm of an older, quiet neighborhood. Harbor St Cottage has the added benefit of quiet and privacy, but with convenient walking distance to downtown, City Park and the Harbor Walk. Enjoy the local festivals and concerts, and then walk back to the cottage for a quiet retreat. 3 blocks from the shore permits a wonderful walk all the way to town at low tide. City park is 4 blocks in the opposite direction for swimming, tennis, basketball, and picnic tables and shelter. The cottage yard is big and mostly flat, so kids can play outside while adults relax on the private deck or the spacious yard. The interior is open, carpeted, sunny and cheerful and has water views. A great house for adults and kids alike! With a large bedroom and full bath on the main level this house can accompany 3 generations comfortably, or 3 couples with children, or any group of 9 adults. Great for families, girls getaways, or couples. There is much to do within walking distance. and Jack's Grocery is ONE block distance from the cottage - very convenient for a quick dash when you forgot that ONE thing at the store, or for a quick sandwich or slice of pizza! Walk to bike rental store and bike the Passy Rail Trail!

Nice property!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying In Liz's house. There was plenty of room for the whole family and the location was within walking distance to down town Belfast where we explored several shops. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Comfortable house in a friendly, lovely town of Belfast, Maine.

  • 4 of 5

We were 2 couples going to Maine for a trip to see various sites including Bar Harbor to the north and the Farmsworth in Rockland, Maine to the south. The location was great and enjoyed walking the town of Belfast and eating at various restaurants there. The house had all of the necessities including a washer/ dryer which is helpful. We cooked 2 meals in the house as the lobster pound had a nice selection of mussels, clams, and haddock. Turned out that Maine's mussels turned out to be a favorite over the lobster. We took a sunset sail in Belfast which was a highlight. Ate a night in Camden which wasn't too far from the house. Also saw the partial eclipse from Mt Battie. Maine has it's charms.
