About Carlos & Laura Garcia
We have enjoyed this beautiful townhome with our family and friends since April 2006 and now we want to share it with you! We have made this home a warm and inviting place to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. Our desire is to make every guest feel like this is their home away from home. We hope you choose to stay at Mar-A-Villa on your next trip to the beach!
Carlos & Laura Garcia purchased this Townhouse in 2006
Why Carlos & Laura Garcia chose Corpus Christi
This property is located between HWY 361 and Whitecap Beach. There are restaurants and shops nearby. The location is ideal to enjoy all that the island has to offer like the beach, fishing and enjoying great seafood!
What makes this Townhouse unique
Village on the Green complex is only 17 units with a private swimming pool. Our unit is on a corner so it tends to be quiet with only one neighbor. The beach is less than one mile from the townhouse.

Our Best Vacation Yet!
It did not take long for Mar-a-Villa to feel like our home away from home. It is tastefully decorated, spacious, very clean and comfortable. The great location provided us with many opportunities for a variety of activities and entertainment. We especially enjoyed the miles of beaches, the attractions in Corpus Christi, San Antonio, and the smaller towns in the area. We highly recommend this townhouse to anyone who is looking for a wonderful vacation on North Padre Island.
It's so good to hear that you all had a great time on the island and enjoyed our home. Thank you for your recommendation. We invite all looking to spend some time on the island to book with us and enjoy all the island has to offer.

A perfect condo for our winter fun
We spent Jan. - Mar. 2018 at this lovely condo. 3 bedrooms, 21/2 baths, and a huge loft and 2 car garage. The owner is wonderful and very helpful. The condo immaculate. The owner has a fabulous cleaning person so this condo is spotless. Everything there is the highest quality. It was a grand
winter being so close to the beach, great restaurants, and Corpus Christi nearby. After 12 years of renting, this condo is the best!
We pay close attention to details, that's why we have a five star cleaning crew. We are currently upgrading floors, fixtures and appliance. Come and explore beautiful Padre Island and enjoy our townhome. Thanks for spending your Michigan winter months with us.

Whitecap Beach is within one mile of the townhome and allows drive up access to the beach. If you prefer a State Park, Malaquite Beach consists of a little more than 4 miles of gulf beach and is near the island's north end about 8 miles away. This beach is part of Padre Islands National Seashore and is great for those wanting a less crowded environment. The visitor's center has displays on local history and wildlife. There is a per vehicle entrance charge. Port Aransas is located about 15 miles away and is also a great place to visit to walk about the jetties and see the occasional dolphin swimming with the ferry boats. There are multiple fishing boat charters that can be taken for a half or full day adventure. Great fishing can be had at several locations on the island. Bob Hall Pier is a very popular location to try and catch the Big One! The Texas State Aquarium and the Lexington are located on North Beach about a 15 - 20 minute drive into Corpus Christi. The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center located at 8545 S. Staples St. offers a variety of educational events for all ages and garden enthuses as well as natural exhibits.
The Hans and Pat Suter Wildlife Refuge at Enis Joslin and Nile. The 72 acre wildlife refuge features an 800 foot boardwalk into Oso Bay, where you will likely see many migrating birds as well as a 1 mile (round trip) nature trail along the shore. Other facilities include covered picnic tables, grills, a playground, interactive displays, and a butterfly garden. And, of course, a couple of geocaches.
Whataburger Field is the minor league baseball stadium located in Corpus Christi. It is currently home to the Corpus Christi Hooks, the double-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Mustang Island State Park at 17047 Hwy 361 in Port Aransas is located south of Port Aransas on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico that covers 3,954 acres and has a 5 mile beachfront.
A must do while visiting (if available) is to attend a Kemp's Ridley sea turtle hatchling release. Each year, the public is invited to attend 15-25 of the releases of hatchlings that emerge from eggs cared for at the Padre Island National incubation facility. These releases are open to the public free-of-charge and are held at the northern end of the National Seashore, typically in front of the Malaquite Beach Visitor Center. Releases begin about 6:30-6:45 am. It is worth the visit, the releases are extremely popular with the public. Thousands of people attend each year. Locals attend in large numbers, as do visitors from out of town. Dates and times for the releases depend on when the nests hatch and the hatchlings become active and ready for release. Call the recorded Hatchling Hotline at (361)949-7163 for the latest information on release date, time, or location. Both young and young at heart will enjoy this unique experience.
