Beautiful Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was a wonderful place to spend a weekend, we will definitely be back. The house was well furnished, comfortable, and inviting. All the plants hanging and sitting around the house really added to the atmosphere as well, giving the cabin a very homey feel. Thanks Mighty!

Charming and Unique is an Understatement

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend Cody and Rhodesian ridgeback pup Leo had an absolute blast in this artsy, good vibe hideaway in the Catskills. The detail that Mighty Has put into this quaint spot is unrivaled. It is quirky in all the right ways. I loved swinging on the porch and listening to the creek behind us and our dog Leo could not get enough of all the land to run around in. Not too far from the Diamond Notch hike we took, which was challenging but had a beautiful waterfall for us to investigate! We also had dinner in Phoenicia nearby and went to Colgate lake for the day too. So much to do, even though we all would've been just fine hanging around the cabin :)

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a action packed and lovely review. and more, for taking good care of everything and communicating so well. We're so happy we could share our dwelling with Cody and you, Jennifer...... I will put you on a special list for our upcoming Paint the Night Lake House near Amherst Ma which should be available in about a year. (The home will be only feet from a small 10 acre lake with campfire 12 feet from the lake's edge. With two kayaks and a canoe and delicious water to jump in any time u want, ice skating in winter, it should be the best of Paint the Night : ) Thanks for being one of the nicest and last guests in the Main House. I am a little melancholy to have sold the land,....you make vacation renting an easy, friendly experience!

Perfect place to relax... Didn't do much just sat on the swing chair and enjoyed sipping wine surrounded by Greenery.. There is also a stream nearby if you want to swim.. Place itself was clean and comfortable..

A place that begs you to relax!

  • 5 of 5

Cozy, comfortable and creative! This is a wonderful bohemian cottage in a great setting. It is situated next to a stream, at the base of a mountain and with wonderful access to the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend a sunlit rosewater bath in the large soaking tub. We cannot wait to go back in the summer when we can open the windows and hear the stream and experience the fresh air! A great wood stove heats the space comfortably and the small details make this cozy and encourages you to think outside of your everyday! I recommend the beautiful drive down 214 to Tannersville as a jumping off point for some awesome hiking or a pop back down to Phoenicia for great pizza at Brio.

Peaceful oasis in the mountains

  • 5 of 5

From the moment I pulled into the driveway I could feel all stress melt away. The grounds were filled with herbs and flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds. The Main House was cozy and inviting and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Mighty was a pleasure to work with and made the entire trip easy to navigate.

We were very close to all of the main hiking trails in the Catskills and to Phoenicia and Woodstock for shopping and meals.

We will definitely return to Mighty's lovely home.

Beautiful garden, thoughtful and adorable cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed the paint the sky cottage! The garden gives it the feel of an enclave and the cottage was very clean and outfitted with everything we needed! While I wasnt initially sure about the photos-it's quirky in just the right way to make it feel like a true escape. I love traveling, hotels etc and I truly enjoyed the experience of staying at paint the night and hope to return.
