Perfect get away place!
Charming spacious studio. Well stocked with most everything you will need for a stay. Perfect for 2 people and you can easily fit 4. This place is very nicely built and you will be very comfortable staying here. It’s sepedated enough form the main house you feel as though you are in your own little world. Nice peek-a-boo view of the water and fantastic location. Fall is a perfect time do year to enjoy Maine and this is centrally located to all Southern Maine has to offer. You won’t go wrong renting this place! Thank you for letting us stay there. I’ll be back for sure.
A sweet place to land.
This apartment was the perfect place for us to land at the end of our very busy days in Maine. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and had to leave a day early missing the one day we had planned to use the bikes and maybe kayaks. Make sure you get the correct address from Katy because VRBO released the wrong one to us and we could find the house. It was our fault for not making sure we had her attachment before we started searching for the place in the dark. The only oven is a tiny toaster oven, but that's the only thing that might be an issue if someone was planning to bake. A great place for two adults or two plus one child. Everything is clean and well kept. The location was perfect for us. We drove up from New Hampshire on our first day and arrived right when we were tired and it was dark. The other days we spent driving north as far as Camden, which I highly recommend. We would stay here again.
Beautiful location and relaxing getaway!
We could not have been happier with our stay! The owner was very friendly and accommodating while still providing a private and easily accessible space. The location was secluded enough to offer a get away feel and close enough to Portland for trips into city for local breweries and dinners. We loved having breakfast and coffee on the porch in the mornings where you are able to see and feel the water breeze. We also enjoyed biking to the preserve to walk around. We will be coming back again!!
A wonderful place for a respite!
The Loft is well appointed.
Katy is a great host and this is a surreal location.
We will be back...hopefully soon!
My husband and I had a great time in this immaculate, well equipped, beautiful bay waterfront loft. Katy, who manages the property, reponded quickly and helped us with whatever we needed. Owners, Paul and Linda, thought of everything that one would need to be comfortable and feel at home. The loft exceeded our expectations, beautifully decorated, a binder with attractions/dining/points of interest. Bikes/kayaks available. We loved it! Great location to travel farther north or south for the day. We would love to come back!! Thank you Paul and Linda for sharing your piece of heaven ❤️
High Fire Risk?
Nice and clean place, but lots of street noise and strangers and commercial vehicle around. Plus fire risk from combustibles in large commercial garage directly underneath the unit. Possible Maine fire regulation violations due to non-functioning fire alarm while we were there.
Also, due to lack of simple window AC unit, the apartment is extremely hot and uncomfortable if daily high temps are in upper 70's or above. Not worth the high cost.
