About Anne O'Mara

We are retired educators who fell in love with the house and the town. We love the ocean and walks on the beach. This is our 'paradise found.'

Anne O'Mara purchased this house in 2008

Why Anne O'Mara chose Ipswich

We fell in love with the view from the kitchen and had to buy this place. Since then, we have added an incredible third floor master suite with a bedroom view of the ocean that defies description. we also added a killer kitchen with great appliances. Whether we have morning coffee or a sunset cocktail on one of our two deck, the views never get old.

The town of Ipswich is rich in history with the largest number of first period houses (built before 1725) in America. Great tours are always available.

The nearby town of Newburyport has several festivals during the summer as well as shopping, whale watching, and sunset cruises. Gloucester, another nearby town, offers wonderful restaurants, antiques, and museums. Salem, the city famous for the witch trials of the 1600's is also a short drive from Ipswich.
