Beautiful Condo with Wonderful Views
Pluses: This condo unit is beautifully furnished & perfect for the needs of 2 couples & 2 single ladies. There is more than enough space for everyone to be relaxed. The beds are super comfortable, & the bathrooms are newly renovated. The view of the ocean is spectacular from the balconies in both the master bedroom & main sitting room. All the televisions & electronics work without a problem. Washer & dryer are perfectly acceptable. The kitchen is fully stocked with any kind of appliance dishware or flatware that might be needed. The refrigerator is clean & works well. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms make sleeping a breeze! This condo unit literally holds all the comforts of home. It is clear that the owners take great pride in the unit they are renting & have tried very hard to present it as nearly perfect. The female security employed by the Atlantis went above & beyond to make sure we were safe when we got a flat tire in the parking lot & the rest of the staff is pleasant &helpful. The pool is gorgeous, spacious & clean.
Negatives: The air-conditioning in this unit is set to hold at 80 degrees & is unable to be changed. Therefore quite frequently it needed to be reset to 70 & would not go colder than 70. This was a bit warm for us, however it was not uncomfortable & it was a minor inconvenience easily solved with the fans found in the closet. The ceiling fan in the smallest bedroom is inoperable; this again, was a minor inconvenience. Our biggest negative was the condition of the condo unit when we moved in. The family before us did not do a good job of cleaning up after themselves at all. (urine on toilet seats, sandy floors, sticky counter tops, disheveled beds etc.) This in no way reflects upon the owners; it does however reflect strongly upon the realtors (Shoreline) who clearly did not do the appropriate walk-through before we moved in. We always come prepared to clean before we move in, so we cleaned up the mess encountered & went on to enjoy a wonderful vacation in a beautiful condo. That being said though, we were rather disappointed with the realtor regarding this matter. Again, in my opinion it was a minor inconvenience. The quality of the condo & the lengths to which the owners have gone to create a relaxing, well organized, well decorated & well cared for space far outweighed these 3 small nuisances. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again & I would not hesitate to suggest that anyone else rent it either.
