About maria

Bob and Maria have owned in Asheville since 2006. It will eventually be our retirement home. We live in Florida and grew up in New York. Our family says we're half backs, since we're half way back to our roots. We love sharing our home with others. It's really an easy city to love.

Wonderful home to enjoy Asheville

  • 4 of 5

This is our second time staying for a month in this cozy home with all you need for an extended stay. Spent hours on the deck enjoying the trees and birds with Mac our Westie.

You could not find an easier location to explore the area. Maria, the owner, is wonderful to work with and had a leak in the faucet fixed in an hour which I could never accomplish in Florida.

We will be back next year.

Cozy home and close to downtown!

  • 5 of 5

Clean, cozy property that is close to downtown. Cheap/quick Uber to downtown to go to all the breweries at Asheville has to offer! May be walkable, if your up to it - but it was way too cold when we were there. Loved that the place was pet friendly. Nicely stocked kitchen to prepare meals. Home was nice, nothing fancy - but that wasn't what we were looking for.

Relaxing Home in Wonderful Location in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and our two Yorkies loved our stay at Maria's home in Asheville, NC. When we first arrived the water was turned off, but Maria had it turned back on within a half hour. Maria's home was warmly decorated and had everything we needed during our stay including a wine bottle opener. The garage was too small to fit our vehicle; however, the driveway to the house was well lit and provided easy access to the house. The location was convenient to grocery stores, shopping malls, and restaurants. We felt at home from the time we arrived until we left, and we look forward to staying at Maria's home again in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Asheville.

Comfy, Clean, and Close to Downtown

  • 5 of 5

We loved this Asheville home! Everything was comfortable and clean upon arrival. Two nice-sized bedrooms, one queen and one king. Cable/WiFi worked perfectly. Well-stocked kitchen. Washer and dryer in the basement. Nice, safe neighborhood. We met several neighbors during our stay and they were all so warm and friendly and eager to offer restaurant and shopping suggestions. My only recommendation would be a new coffee maker, but everything else worked great. Maria was pleasant, easy to work with, and responded immediately whenever we communicated. This home is about 1.5 miles from downtown, so a little too far to walk but certainly an easy drive. We did not get to enjoy the deck because it was a little chilly during our trip, but I can imagine it's a lovely place to enjoy the beautiful sunset with a glass of wine or tea. Seriously, I think Asheville is my new favorite city and we will definitely stay in this home next time we visit!
