The apartment is located near the Eiffel Tower, between Trocadero and the Bois de Boulogne, near the Avenue Victor Hugo, a chic avenue with many boutiques and ready-to-wear. You will also find several bakeries, an excellent butcher, Asian and Italian caterers, fruit and vegetable vendors, a wine and liquor, outdoor cafes and many pharmacies.
There is also a bike rental (Velib) just down the apartment and rental electric vehicles (Autolib), banks (ATMs), florists, dry cleaners, post office and many restaurants and bistros.
Guests can walk to the Musée Marmottan (Monet paintings) and stroll Rue de Passy to find chic and trendy boutiques.
A 3-minute walk, you can jog in the Bois de Boulogne, discover lakes and even rent a boat.
Paris is a great city for walkers ! The Eiffel Tower, the Trocadero, the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs Elysées, the Marmottan Museum are within walking distance of the apartment.
Public transport are numerous and easy to use.
You can go anywhere from the subway station (Rue de la Pompe, line 9), which is 5 minutes walk from the apartment, at the intersection of the Rue de la Pompe and Avenue Henri Martin / George Mandel. 9 This line allows you to go on the Champs Elysees, the Opera, famous department stores Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, the Opera, Bateaux Mouches, Trocadero, Eiffel Tower, etc. In Franklin D. Roosevelt (4 stops) subway you can take Line 1, which takes you to the Concorde, the Tuileries, the Palais Royal, the Louvre, the Pompidou Centre, Place des Vosges, the Marais and Bastille.
There is also the RER C (Station Avenue Henri Martin) 5 minute walk brings you to the Musée d'Orsay (6 stations) at Notre Dame de Paris and Saint Michel (7 stations).
The Porte Dauphine (line 6) connects you to the Moulin Rouge (8 stations) or Montmarte (10 stations).
There is also one very convenient bus stop Rue de la Pompe: bus 52 which allows you to go to the Champs Elysées, the Faubourg Saint Honoré, the Madeleine and the Opera.
However my favorite is the 63 bus which is perfect for visiting Paris, it starts Avenue Henri Martin / Georges Mandel, then crosses the Seine to the Concorde, the Boulevard St Germain, the Latin Quarter, to Gare Lyon. You can take the bus to go to the Invalides, the Musée d'Orsay, visiting Notre Dame, discover the Sorbonne or stroll through the Jardin du Luxembourg or Saint Germain des Près.
