This place looks nothing like the pictures. The paint is coming off of the walls, the front door is cracked along the frame like someone tried to break in and the carpet needs replacing. The couch when we arrived also had a stain on it. I could go on.The rental company was the worst rental company that we have ever dealt with. I would recommend finding a place that does not have a rental company over the property and rent from an owner with your own access, so you aren't driving around dropping and picking up keys. It is also important to note that this property does not provide a garage opener. Which is completely an inconvenience every time you leave. Why can't you provide a garage opener? They also do not provide any place to put your luggage. Most rentals and hotels have luggage holders or carriers that are in the closet. This property has nothing so your luggage is on the floor.
Our experience could not have gone any worse unless the place caught fire. When checking in and getting our keys, we OVERPAID to heat the pool. $250 for a WEEK. This was in October and if we were going to swim, the pool needed to be heated. Brenda also gave us a late check out for 11am. I hate that I am even calling it a "late" checkout because that is standard in most renting places and hotels. Why is your checkout time not 11am? The pool stopped heating on a Tuesday. We had to call the rental company to send out a tech because the water was freezing. The TECH told us that the breaker tripped but that the pool only heated from 8am-8pm. Um, this was never communicated to us when we paid the $250 to heat it. We wouldn't have paid that if it was.
Some other issues:
The front door frame was cracked. We called earlier in the week concerned that someone tried to break in. They came out to look at it and denied it was from a breakin. WE HIGHLY believe it was from someone trying to break in. On day of check out, a TECH came out to "fix" the door at 9am. HE JUST WALKED IN. we had the place till 11am.
Also on day of check out, Brenda called at 1045am asking why we weren't out at 10am. Said she didn't say we could leave at 11am. I have three people that were there that said you did. When we dropped off keys we got in a yelling match with Brenda about whether she said it was OK to checkout at 11am. We felt harassed on day of check out. The manager eventually called and tried to fix it but damage was done. Overall, we won't be back, ever, to rent from this company
