Great location for South Austin
The condo is well maintained and furnished. It has a washer and drier that makes it easy to bring fewer clothes for a visit to Austin. It is on a second floor right next to the swimming pool, but we seldom saw anyone using it. The complex is quiet and the people we did encountered were friendly. It is located near William Cannon and West Gate, easy to get to HEB grocery, Whole Foods, Costco, Home Depot and lots of restaurants in less than a 15 minute drive. I would stay here again if coming to Austin again. Owner was responsive to all questions and concerns. Plenty of parking available. Good sized kitchen with stove, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, sink and dishwasher. It comes equipped with cooking pots, plates, glassware and eating utensils, all you need is your required foods. King sized bed was very comfortable. Plenty of closet space, though the owner has some of his clothes stored there.
6 weeks in Austin
The apartment was really nice. It was in a great location, easy to get to downtown and close to hill country. It felt very spacious for the size, and was quiet. I had a problem with the WiFi and Blake got it fixed right away. I loved being right next to the pool, that added a lot to the apartments appeal.
Excellent setting. Bright and clean.
Very bright and clean. Although it was near a very busy street, William Cannon, the condo was in a secluded park-like setting and was very serene. Grocery store only a mile away as well as s number of restaurants.
It was convenient to all the events and areas we wanted to visit!
I was back home for my 4Oth high school reunion from Crockett! So this location was truly perfect! Smack dab in the middle of south Austin! We enjoyed the condo when we weren’t out and about! Blake, the owner would respond quickly when we voiced a question or concern! One thing that was an issue was there was only one roll of toilet paper! 👀 but seriously we really enjoyed and would stay there again!
Comfortable and functional condo that could use some fixing
This property served our needs for our weekend in Austin. The property was clean and had everything we needed but some items were in need of repair. The worst item is that the heater was not working for our stay. We didn't need it until the last night of our stay but when we tried to turn it on the condo dropped from 69 down to 64 while it blew cold air. A few other more minor issues; the arm of the sofa is missing, the floor trim around the fireplace is just laid down and not attached, the cover on the HVAC looks like it is about to fall off, and the main kitchen light burned out part way through our stay. Overall the condo is fine for 2 people and we enjoyed our stay, but there are some issues for the owner to address and hopefully he can get them fixed for the next guest.
Convenient to grocery and eateries, short hop to downtown Austin or Hill Country. Quiet and comfortable.
