The master bedroom boasts an unparalleled view of the Gulf from it's balcony, as does the main level deck. In addition to the exquisite views, the master bedroom contains a well-appointed space including king bed, flat screen TV, DVD and private shower area.

The main level is where the second bedroom is found, complete with top-notch bedding and furnishings. This bedroom also offers an entertainment system, complete with flat screen TV and DVD. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the bedroom arrangement, with it's matching twin bed and daybed, which also has a third trundle bed underneath it.

The main living area includes a third entertainment system with yet another flat screen TV and DVD player. Internet access provided through cable service. A queen size sofa sleeper is available in this space.

Quickly grew to love the area as we visited family near Port St. Joe. We especially appreciate the lack of crowds and serenity this area offers. Fully furnished, fully stocked including beach chairs, beach towels, everything you'll need to enjoy the beach.

For a private vacation experience, this single-family home is tough to beat. The beaches are nearly your own, with very limited exposure and NONE of the crowds you'll find elsewhere!

Perfection.

The word elegant is often misunderstood to mean high style, even high-falutin', but the Pink House is elegant's definition: both pleasingly graceful, but also ingeniously simple. Everything my friend and I needed for a week of relaxation, contemplation, and delight was provided (with the exception of maybe some extra washcloths; although there were plenty of clean, absorbent towels and other linens). We were very pleased with the selection of good, useful pots and pans with fitting lids, more than enough glasses, dishes and silverware, a fully functional stove and fridge. Making simple meals and clean up couldn't have been easier, altho who needs to with Indian Pass Raw Bar within walking/biking distance, Apalachicola and Boss Oyster or Bite Me Deli only a short drive away. The location is also perfect in respect to the beach. One row back, the tall porches still provide good sight lines to the gulf and sunsets, the beauty enhanced by the fat palm tree in the yard and fucshia-colored bougainvillea that surrounds the front. Our visit was blessed with a wealth of Monarch butterflies who loved the flowers, too. Walking the beach or settling down with a good book in a beach chair couldn't be easier with the access only a couple of houses down the road. The park at the end of nearby Cape San Blas is a treasure, as well. Next time we come, I plan to make a day of it there. Highway 30A is the road less traveled and there were no disturbances from traffic sounds at all. Thank you all for such a lovely experience. Hope to come back again, soon. Ronni

Nice and secluded. Great place to unplug.

Owner very responsive to our needs. Place was clean and well appointed. Short walk to beach. Two minutes from our favorite place to have oysters. Only drawback was the weather was not great at the start of the trip but that is no reflection on the property.

Great Summer Vacation for Family of 6.

We had a great stay. My husband and I vacationed with all of our 4 children. The house was very nice and very clean (although we had to air the house out when we got there because the bleach smell was very strong and the tile floors were slick with cleaner). The house is beautifully decorated while still being quite comfortable! The downstairs bedroom had a twin bed, a day bed and a twin trundle bed. We were able to have our two teenagers and our 4 year old share that room. We put the trundle bed against the far wall so that they had plenty of floor space in the center of the room. The closet in the room was huge so they were able to keep all of their luggage and toys in the closet. The downstairs bath is attached to that room. The master bedroom occupies the entire upstairs and had plenty of space for us to set up a pack and play for our baby. We were disappointed that we didn't have immediate access to the beach but it is a very short walk down to the end of the street and the public access. Although there is a house directly in front of this house, you still have an amazing view of the beach. In fact, you can lay in bed in the master bedroom and see and hear the waves crashing. The beach was quiet and not crowded at all even during peak season. Please note that cars are allowed on the beach here. We did have two incidents where inexperienced drivers were driving too fast down the beach and almost hit one of my young children with their vehicle. But for the most part, the only vehicles you see are golf carts or ATVs transporting residents from the neighborhood to the beach. We had a great time sea shell hunting and crabbing at Money Bayou right next to this neighborhood. We caught an entire 5 gallon bucket full of crabs from the bridge over the bayou! The kitchen at this house was fully stocked. We cooked all but one meal at the house all week and were never in need of any kitchen utensils or equipment. There is no indoor table but we ate our family meals out on the porch. We turned off the air and opened up the doors to the house so we could get the breeze from the indoor fan. We were very comfortable here and had an amazing vacation. We didn't need for anything. There were even plenty of bath towels and beach towels as well as beach toys and chairs available for our use. The house has a washer, dryer and dishwasher. There is no need to leave once you arrive at the house! We will definitely return to this beach.

Wonderful Place

The Forgotten Coast is magical and this beautiful home and the beach is everything the reviewers have said.

People should know that driving on the beach is permitted here and in Indian Pass, but not on the Cape. I personally found it disconcerting, but most people probably won't.

I want to wave you off, but...

I am a native Floridian who has lived in Georgia for 26 years. I had never been to the "Forgotten Coast" before renting this house. The beach is pristine with sugar sand and clear water. During spring break week, when PCB and Destin were zoos, this area was quiet, uncrowded, and heavenly.

The house itself was immaculate and when I did have an issue come up, Patrick responded very quickly. The 2nd floor master suite was roomy and beautifully decorated. I really felt like I was in an upscale hotel. The main floor living and kitchen areas are gorgeous, well-decorated, and extremely well supplied. 3 corkscrews? That's for me. (No wine glasses, so bring your own if you're that picky about your glass!) My teen daughters were very comfortable in the bedroom with the twins and private bath. It was nicely decorated and has very high ceilings which made it feel bigger.

I thought this house was an incredible value for the money and the location was a fabulous surprise. We were able to poke around Port St. Joe and enjoy the little shops and restaurants and the marina. We went into Apalachicola and shopped and walked around. We checked out Mexico Beach and also made a day trip up to PCB, enjoying a free air show of F22 Raptors while driving through Tyndall AFB. It was great to arrive early in PCB before the party crowd got up! We visited Gulf World (awesome animal care) and ate at Pineapple Willy's then got out early enough to avoid the crazies.

Seriously, don't hesitate to rent this place. It was fantastic!

Old Florida Defined

I have been going to Florida my whole life for summer vacations and decided to stray away from the PC/Destin scene and try Cape San Blas. My wife an I could not be happier with the choice. The beaches are private and drive-able. The state parks are right down the road. Plenty of quiet, sight seeing location withing walking distance. There are several delicious local eating establishments within minutes. If you need groceries, bug spray or other essentials, Port ST Joe is minutes away. The house is very clean and well laid out. All kitchen appliances are included and in very good working order. The views from both balconies are awesome. Parking under the house is nice in rain storms. The outside shower is perfectly placed. We felt at home minutes after arrival. Patrick was very responsive with answers to questions and checking in and out was a breeze. Thanks for a wonderful week. We will definitely be back
