The moment you enter the front gate, you’ll feel right at home in your peaceful, private and serene oasis. As walk through the front door of this gorgeous Spanish Revival home, you’ll be greeted with a warm and welcoming space combining classic comforts with modern amenities. The living room is an ideal place to relax and unwind with a good book; to catch up on your favorite programs with a premium satellite channel lineup, or to play games and enjoy family time together. For those rare, chilly winter nights, there is a warming fireplace to complete the cozy setting. For the warmer summer months, Casa Paloma has central air conditioning.

A well-appointed and fully stocked kitchen makes it a breeze to prepare a light snack at the breakfast bar, or to serve a full course holiday meal in the formal dining room set with handcrafted Luna Garcia pottery dinnerware. The Kitchen was updated in April 2017 with all new appliances, quartz counters and a spacious pantry.

The master suite boasts an over-sized walk-in closet, a jetted tub , separate shower, and a California king-size bed (72" W x 84" L). The home is a great choice for families -- the guest bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed (60" W x 80" L) and adjoins the second bathroom. Casa Paloma comfortably sleeps 6 adults between the two bedrooms and a gorgeous Murphy bed with a queen Serta "Perfect Night" plush mattress in the living room to accommodate two additional guests.

Please let us know if you require additional furniture for your baby or infant. We can provide a baby crib or a twin sized foam mattress & a highchair, for a one time $25 setup fee.

The house also includes an inside laundry room with all of the kitchen, bed & bath amenities and supplies you would expect in your own home.

The jewel of Casa Paloma is the lush courtyard edged with palms and tropical plants that invites you to sit and savor your morning coffee, pause for a glimpse the hummingbirds, or simply enjoy San Diego’s great weather. In the evenings, unwind with a glass of wine outside on the comfortable couch with the lanterns aglow casting a romantic light off the soothing fountain.

One of the best features of Casa Paloma is its central location, close and convenient to everything San Diego has to offer. Casa Paloma is tucked into an historic of Mission Hills neighborhood – away from all the crowds, tourists, and congestion. Mission Hills is quiet and serene, and you can easily walk to a variety of local restaurants. Plus, Hillcrest, known for its shops, eclectic restaurants, and busting nightlife, is just a mile away. We chose this house because of the convenient location close to everything San Diego - within walking distances to restaurants, and a short drive to beaches, downtown, Balboa Park -- CLOSE to everything, but nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood outside of the traffic and congestion.

What makes this house unique

You will be amazed at the expansive, and private outdoor living space at Casa Paloma - from the front patio to the spacious courtyard at the back of the house - doubling the available living space. Casa Paloma is located in a very secluded residential neighborhood on a quiet cul-de-sac, atop a hill, surrounded on three sides by canyons , without drive-by traffic and away from the flight path.

My wife and I booked Casa Paloma as a joint birthday present to each other and we could not have been more happy with the choice. The location is perfect for the zoo, Sea World, Mission Bay, French Quarter, beaches, marinas, etc. The home itself is so warm and inviting it is just like being home, only with some great amenities, The owners, Paula and Keith, are very attentive and accommodating and wanted to make sure we had a great time. Also the website is one of the best I have experienced in providing guests every tool needed to make sure your visit is everything you could want. My family and I will definitely stay here again every opportunity we have when in San Diego and I cannot recommend this more to anyone visiting the San Diego area. You will not be disappointed.

Charming house in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is charming. All rooms are comfortably furnished. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home. Everything is as pictured. The location is terrific for food shopping, very close to local restaurants, and easy access to freeways and downtown.

Cannot wait to come back!

We stayed a week in the amazing house that contains anything you could imagine needing and wanting. Close to everything 5 to 15 minutes drive to just about anywhere in San Diego but in a quiet little side street away from the busy city. Gated front entrance and a amazing back patio with a water fountain and even your own hummingbird family! The kitchen had every gadget you could think of they even have a full spice rack! Need to do laundry, dishes, need an extension cord etc ..they have all the supplies right there for you! Cable has every possible channel you can imagine. Living room even had a basket with extra blankets if needed while relaxing. That all topped with the fabulous communication .. the house manual with everything you need to know about the house and recommendations for local things to see and do! I would say everything was PERFECT!! Would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be back!!

The best vacation home, ever!

Everything was perfect during our stay at Casa Paloma, from the smooth booking process, the pre-arrival information and our interactions with the team at Next Stop:San Diego. Casa Paloma is a spacious house in a charming (and peaceful) neighborhood with comfortable furnishings, a well stocked kitchen and delicious smelling toiletries. Our favorite part of Casa Paloma was spending time the courtyard, having breakfast outdoors in the tropically landscaped paradise, and dinners under the stars with the with soothing sound of the fountain. We can't wait to return!

Casa Paloma was perfect in every aspect!!!!

From the time you pulled up to the property and walked into Casa Paloma every detail was perfectly thought of .. We had a nice welcome note and snacks upon arrival. Every detail of the house was perfect.. Kitchen had everything you could think of without missing any of your home amenities.. Master bath was definitely one of my personal favorite with the soaking tub.. The back yard had plenty of seating for a family get together .. We had my parents meet us there and there was plenty of room for our family .. When we go back to San Diego we will defiantly come back to Casa Paloma...

Fabulous Neighborhood Living

This was our third year at Casa Paloma, and we have booked for next year already. The location is perfect for us, allowing us to walk to restaurants and movies, and explore San Diego away from the water . . . or to go to the water if the spirit moves us. The house is as well supplied as any we have ever visited, and the owners and management team are lovely and responsive. Highly recommended.
