The moment you enter the front gate, you’ll feel right at home in your peaceful, private and serene oasis. As walk through the front door of this gorgeous Spanish Revival home, you’ll be greeted with a warm and welcoming space combining classic comforts with modern amenities. The living room is an ideal place to relax and unwind with a good book; to catch up on your favorite programs with a premium satellite channel lineup, or to play games and enjoy family time together. For those rare, chilly winter nights, there is a warming fireplace to complete the cozy setting.

A well-appointed and fully stocked kitchen makes it a breeze to prepare a light snack at the breakfast bar, or to serve a full course holiday meal in the formal dining room set with handcrafted Luna Garcia pottery dinnerware. The master suite boasts an over-sized walk-in closet, a jetted tub , separate shower, and a California king-size bed (72" W x 84" L). The home is a great choice for families -- the guest bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed (60" W x 80" L) and adjoins the second bathroom. Casa Paloma comfortably sleeps 6 adults between the two bedrooms and a gorgeous Murphy bed with a queen Serta "Perfect Night" plush mattress in the living room to accommodate two additional guests.

Please let us know if you require additional furniture for your baby or infant. We can provide a baby crib or a twin sized foam mattress & a highchair, for a one time $25 setup fee.

The house also includes an inside laundry room with all of the kitchen, bed & bath amenities and supplies you would expect in your own home.

The jewel of Casa Paloma is the lush courtyard edged with palms and tropical plants that invites you to sit and savor your morning coffee, pause for a glimpse the hummingbirds, or simply enjoy San Diego’s great weather. In the evenings, unwind with a glass of wine outside on the comfortable couch with the lanterns aglow casting a romantic light off the soothing fountain.

We chose this house because of the convenient location close to everything San Diego - within walking distances to restaurants, and a short drive to beaches, downtown, Balboa Park -- CLOSE to everything, but nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood outside of the traffic and congestion.

My wife and I booked Casa Paloma as a joint birthday present to each other and we could not have been more happy with the choice. The location is perfect for the zoo, Sea World, Mission Bay, French Quarter, beaches, marinas, etc. The home itself is so warm and inviting it is just like being home, only with some great amenities, The owners, Paula and Keith, are very attentive and accommodating and wanted to make sure we had a great time. Also the website is one of the best I have experienced in providing guests every tool needed to make sure your visit is everything you could want. My family and I will definitely stay here again every opportunity we have when in San Diego and I cannot recommend this more to anyone visiting the San Diego area. You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous house in a fabulous location!

This place is amazing. It's the second time we've stayed here with our two boys (now 4.5 and 2.5). Our boys love the fountain in the back courtyard and all the interesting nooks and crannies. We can rest assured that they are safe because the property is secured from the road (i.e. they can't get out!). The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac near the zoo, downtown, restaurants and shopping and has easy access to a number of beaches within fifteen minutes or so. All the conveniences needed are in the house and the master bathroom has had a lovely remodel. We will be back!

Excellent Rental!

Wonderful experience staying at Casa Paloma. Property images and descriptions were accurate, property was spotless and beautiful. Owners are VERY thoughtful in having everything you could need, have binder and web app that includes directions to house, favorite local restaurants and entertainment as well as simple things like Wi-Fi codes. They were also very responsive when I had questions or needed assistance. Location was fantastic - cute neighborhood and close to interstate, grocery stores and Hillcrest area (for restaurants and book shopping!). Our family spent week and took advantage of San Diego Go Pass - did a day at Zoo Safari Park, Legoland, Seaworld, Disney and Disney CA Adventure. Fantastic vacation -wish we had had more time at the house! Would definitely stay again and hope to!

Fell In Love!!

Our family stay at Casa Paloma could not have been any more perfect. The home and grounds were spectacular, spacious and immaculate with all the comforts of home. Being back in Mission Hills brought back great childhood memories and we only wish we could have stayed longer. The communication with the rental team before and during our stay far exceeded our expectations and the owner could not have been any more gracious. The location of the home is so close to downtown, the zoo, Balboa Park, Old Town and the airport that we didn't have to worry about traffic whenever we went exploring. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed. We especially enjoyed sitting in the courtyard at night, enjoying the cool San Diego evenings and the soothing sound of the fountain. We will never rent a hotel room again and Casa Paloma will now become our San Diego "home" when visiting the area. We fell in love!
