A cozy home away from home, this private Los Feliz (1 bedroom, 1 bath) getaway guest house (with stunning hillside views and sunsets) looks and feels like you're in the woods. Located in the hippest part of Los Angeles, it's 5-10 minutes away from an assortment of distinguished attractions. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
I'm more than happy to share local insider tips and general knowledge of Los Angeles area. Feel free to message me in regard to any questions you have, and I'll do my best to answer them accordingly!
The neighborhood is populated by friendly and eccentric yet respectful residents, ranging from younger to older artist type-professionals - in the music and film industry. There's usually plenty of street parking, and to reiterate there's a car port for your vehicle (if you have one) in front of the garage.
Overall, the guest house is in close proximity to tourist attractions, major freeways, as well as public transportation, so the location offers a convenient and versatile base from which to explore and enjoy LA.

Ofer Moses purchased this house in 2013
We would not stay here again! It was clean, but not appealing. It is down a flight of stairs with leaves and a disheveled garden. The bed is awful, the bathroom very tiny and no water in kitchen sink. It does have a terrace with a nice view.
We arrived late, and Ofer had the place open and ready for us, which was very nice. As we had our daughter and son-in-law staying with us, it was a little cozy for four people, but it would be perfect for two. It truly is quite accessible to downtown LA, but it feels like you're in a little forest enclave on the edge of the City. The view towards the City is truly spectacular, but it seems surprisingly quiet. With the close proximity of neighbors, you would also think privacy would be a problem, but it feels fairly private. The interior layout is a little odd, but it works fine and everything was clean and in working order. We had a great time there and appreciated the feeling that it was "our" place for a couple of days. SO much nicer than staying in a hotel, and we enjoyed greater freedom than staying in a b&b. Fun and memorable.
It's been my first time to stay in a guest house ever and additionally the first U.S. trip all by myself. I decided to rent Ofer's guest house and the view has been a big part that I chose that one. All in all his rental property is truly amazing. The guest house is as beautiful as on the pictures and even more. Everything is super clean and Ofer even placed some small treats - like M&M's, nuts and some chocolate - and water to get the start and the stay even better (if that could be possible). There's also plenty room for clothes and the bathroom already has everything (from hair shampoo and cleaner until hairdryer and sun lotion). It seemed a little like a all-inclusive. Ofer is also reachable day&night time :) and always has a good tip to give out. Furthermore I really like to thank you that you've invited me to your 4th July party - it's been a blast and it was amazing to get to know you and your friends.
All in all I can do nothing more than recommend it to everyone I know.
I definitely would visit that place over and over again!
Very chill place. The place was clean and awesome in terms of the city views and the unexpected extras like extra pillows, a chocolate candy jar and a cupboard with healthy food and condiments, Parking was super easy with a pretty much dedicated spot in front. Owner was reachable if we needed, but it wasn't necessary. AC worked well but didn't need it at night due to the big sliding glass door and balcony. Would stay there again readily. Only thing that could be improved is a firmer mattress, but that's a personal preference, everybody is different. Oh, also cool, we caught up on some TV shows using the house cable.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Ofer's lovely guest house. He was a great host who would have accommodated any request - if we'd had one!
We loved the view - especially watching the sunset over Sunset Boulevard.
Great Location right in our favourite area of LA . Highly recommend.
