Charming apartment with elevator.
Located in the very fashionable district 11th of Paris near Place de la Bastille and Gare de Lyon and just a stroll from the beautiful Place des Vosges.
It is a trendy district where Parisians live and work while taking advantage of 30 green spaces open to the public.
If you like walking, you can stroll along the Canal Saint Martin, famous thanks to the film (Marcel Carné, Hotel du Nord).
The apartment is situated between place de la Bastille, place de la Republique, the Père Lachaise Cemetery and not far from the Marais.
Great Security. Elevator is small but good to have one available.
My husband and I stayed here for three nights in the middle of September. What a sweet little place! It is right in the middle of the 11th where everyone speaks French and around the corner from Paul Bert Restaurant...a wonderful place for dinner. At the start of our stay, there was a mix-up, but Arnaud was immediately on top of it...he fixed it in a matter of 10 minutes!!... and the rest of our stay was flawless. We were so pleased with the apartment's location and the ease to find the metros.
The apartment itself is immaculate and so very well-maintained...you had everything you would need.
We look forward to our next time in Paris and our stay at Beige!
We loved our week in this 11th Arrondisemont apartment. There are Michelin-rated cafe's and restaurants within 2-4 blocks, it is quiet, atmospheric, with patisserie, boulangerie, charcuterie, and very few tourists. Also grocery stores, pharmacies, and a leather goods store where I bought a beautiful purse at a great price. Your are one block from the the #8 Metro station which goes almost everywhere. Our host, Arnaud, was very helpful and accessible. We enjoyed Wifi, good TV when we needed to unwind (including BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera). However, as in all the places we stayed in France, we found that you only get one towel each! Luckily, there is a washer-dryer. We would love to stay here again if we ever get back to Paris. Thank you Arnaud!
The listing is absolutely accurate, and everything about the management of the listing, the responsiveness of the owner, the way in which the apartment is prepared for tenants was impeccable. I particularly appreciated the fact that we were given starter supplies of laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, etc - it made the set-up really straightforward; another BIG plus is that it is a keyless entry system, so you don't have to meet anyone to actually get access to the apartment (I have often been frustrated by the waiting that is often a feature of getting access to an apartment). The location is one that we know, and it met our needs perfectly. There were no problems with noise, and it is well situated with respect to metro lines, shopping etc. Everything is in good order and functions properly. It is not a large apartment, but perfectly adequate for two people for a week's stay. I will definitely recommend it to friends who are looking for a very functional apartment in Paris for a short stay, with a good price-quality ratio. An additional comfortable chair would have been nice.
Loved this place made our vacation even better! The next time I'm in Paris I would stay here in a heartbeat! It was clean and cute the bed was super comfy the kitchen was tiny and cute, it had everything you need. The shower was amazing! It was quite at night we felt like we lived in Paris. The bar right across they way Le Pure Cafe was great the folks who work there knew our names the first night, we would walk by and they would yell our name and say Bonjour! The Thai restaurant right down the street called Sawan was amazing the best pad thai I've ever had! Also on the street was the ton of the city bikes that we used everyday to get around. I met my husband there he was staying at a boutique hotel the week before I arrived that was over 250 euros a night he said that is place was way better! Thank you again!!!
This is the fourth time I've stayed in one of Arnaud's apartments and the experience was great as always.
The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious.
The 11th is a fantastic area, with lots of great restaurants close by.
I highly recommend staying in one of these apartments if you are visiting Paris.
