Recently refurbished top to bottom ! Beautiful spacious 2 bed 2 bath 1250 sq foot condo in a gated community on the 2nd floor (top) with 9 ft ceilings. Superb location in Sun Lake Condominiums on HWY 192 only 2 miles from the Magic Kingdom, Downtown Disney, Typhoon Lagoon, Planet Hollywood, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach ! Sun Lake is within walking distance to Formosa Gardens Village which has a food market, Jungle Mini putt, DVD rental and multiple restaurants. Sun Lake is tucked quietly away on conservation land for a quiet restful stay. Whether your vacation is all about the theme parks, shopping, golfing, going to the beach or just relaxing by the pool; Treehouse Jungle has it all! Jungle themed with 2 living rooms (one for the kids) and huge balcony backing onto conservation forest with an outdoor dining area. Walk out to balcony from both master bedroom and great room. Master bedroom with king bed, 32' TV and ensuite bath with step in shower. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds, toys, games, puzzles and baby/toddler amenities (pack-n-play, stroller, potty and seat, step stool, travel high chair, booster seat, bedrail and baby gate). Second bath has jaccuzi tub and lots of drawers. Great room invites open concept living with bar stools and a dining room that seats 6. Both couches have queen pull out beds. Free Wifi and local calls. Huge fully stocked kitchen with oversized fridge/freezer with icemaker, stove/oven, built in microwave and dishwasher, coffee maker, electric kettle, 4 slice toaster, skillet, crock pot and even children friendly dishes. Utility room with full size washer/dryer including iron, ironing board, drying rack and laundry hampers. Short 2 minute walk to the club house with easy entry pool, hot tub, exercise room, pool table and tennis court. Special features you may not find elsewhere include split bedroom design (privacy for you and your guests), home amenities (eg. family sized skillet for pancakes, laundry hampers, fully furnished balcony), baby/toddler equipment included, very quiet/private condo (top floor, conservation off balcony), and prime location close to theme parks but can walk to supermarket, restaurants, mini putt etc.. Walk in clinic and pharmacy within 1 mile.
Very spacious and nicely decorated. Great home away from home. Kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal. I love the gated community and keyless door lock. Upstairs unit with no problems. Quiet neighbors. Will stay again and again!
We enjoyed our stay at the Treehouse Jungle Condo! It was very convenient to all Disney Parks, restaurants, stores and a 24 Hour Walgreens. The property was extremely clean upon our late night arrival. The only issue was the comfort of one of the sleeper sofa beds. There appeared to be no support in the middle of the bed as the frame must have been broken in some way. It ended up being more comfortable to simply sleep on the sofa as opposed to the pull out bed. Also, there was only one set of queen size sheets, with two queen sleeper sofas. We stayed at Disney very late each night, so falling asleep wasn't an issue. However, if you have plans to spend much time in the condo, the sofa could have been an issue. All in all, this was a great property and we would rent it again.
Laura and John have been great from the time of booking thru our entire stay. (which was after Christmas) Everything about this process was smooth and loved our stay; my family is already asking when we are staying again! Everything was clean and felt like another home to us and I have already recommended this place to family, friends and co-workers. We loved how it was so close to 192 and Disney Park entrances. Just outside the community gate was a mini golf, grocery store, Chicago deep dish pizza restaurant and many more options.
Shortly after our arrival, we discovered a plumbing issue. It was about 10;30PM. I managed to fix it, but called the property manager to let them know in case they wanted to check it out. I had to leave a message, and I was never called back during my entire stay. After not getting a call back, I called the owner and left a message. By the next morning, he had already taken corrective action and wanted to make sure that our experience was a positive one. His swift response profoundly impacted my disposition in a positive way. I can assure you that the owners are very eager to make sure that you have a great experience. 5 stars on the owners.
As to the unit, I liked the location a good deal. It wasn't a resort, but a small, private community. Tough to say if most of the residents were permanent or tourists. Either way, I was surprised at how quiet the area was. The unit basically has two living rooms. There is one at the front, and one next to the dining area. The former was quite comfortable and the TV worked great. The latter could do with a new sofa since it felt like maybe the current one had a broken spot somewhere in the frame. The TV was also a little spotty as it kept saying that the channel would return in a minute. Strange that the other TV was great and that one was intermittent. The kitchen was spacious and very useful. The cooking wares were functional, but not great. Very small complaints on that, but since I do a lot of cooking, I noticed things like the knives not being sharp (or straight), the non-stick pans were worn out. But I was pleased at the extent of dishes available, the function and cleanliness of the oven / refrigerator / dishwasher. The bedroom spaces were fine, the bathrooms were good, and I loved the tiled floors. The balcony was a nice feature, but had a rather unattractive view of an overgrown swamp. We didn't really use it, anyway, so it really wasn't a minus for us.
The pool was small, but really great. Nobody was there, and there were multiple security latches. It's a gated community, which is great. The unit itself gave the impression that it has been well taken care of, but could use a few minor improvements.
Overall, it was a great value, great location, and a great community. The unit had almost everything we needed. The owners were tremendous. Just beware of the management company should something urgent arise. I would recommend this unit.
We enjoyed our time in this condo. We used Uber to and from theme parks and there was plenty of food options and a market within walking distance to the condo as well, so a car was not needed. Owners were nice and accommodating. The condo was clean and well kept.
Very quite and clean place. Our family of 5 inducing the baby had tons of fun and relaxation.
