Located in a century old, completely renovated building, you will love the semi open layout, central location and outdoor garden of our Vienna apartment - as well as its proximity to historic and beautiful Augarten park and the city centre!
Our Garden Apartment is located in the 20th District, one block from historic Augarten – a beautiful public park where you can run/walk, lay in the sun, visit one of the outdoor restaurants in the summer or just enjoy a quiet bench to read a book.
The apartment has been recently renovated and newly furnished. You will find a 70 square meter living space as well as a 25 square meter outdoor garden/terrace that is extremely quiet and peaceful. Upon entering the apartment, the small hallway entry will immediately lead you into the kitchen/dining space where you can comfortably prepare and enjoy dinners for up to 6 people. Directly connected/adjacent is the livingroom, and you have access to the garden from both, the kitchen as well as the livingroom.
The bedroom is located past the livingroom and is extremely quiet as the windows face out into a small inside courtyard of the building. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower, toilet and a washing machine and it can be accessed from both, the hallway as well as the bedroom.
The apartment is on the ground floor of the building, facing a quiet, fenced-in back garden/courtyard and it is easily accessible, also by wheelchair (thanks to the open layout and elevator to the ground floor entry).
Our garden apartment is amazingly well connected to all necessary stores/supermarket within just a 5 minute walk. Also close by is Vienna’s only 24 hour bakery – a unique find should hunger strike in the middle of the night when all other stores are closed.
Via the close-by U4 subway line/stop Friedensbruecke you have easy access to the city center and major sights within the 1st District in just 10 to 15 minutes. If you prefer to visit the Prater amusement park or the adjacent green space/park for fun or recreation, you are also just a short tram ride away.
Great place to stay. The apartment is very close to the tram (which runs very frequently); from there, it only requires a few stops to get to the subway. Place is as described--very clean and with a well equipped kitchen making cooking very convenient . There are several places for groceries within just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Having a washing machine was a plus. The bed was very comfortable.
This apartment is newly renovated, quiet and has all the amenities you would require for a Viennese holiday. In a neighbourhood with restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores, this apartment is also close to the tram or you can walk to the subway which will take you to sites in only a few minutes. We visited in late fall and enjoyed walking in the massive park only a block away. A great find.
Our Vienna apartment was roomy, comfortable, extremely well appointed and exceptionally close to public transportation. Our hostess, Theresa, was highly responsive to our questions and continuously offered any and all assistance via text and email. Vienna is a big city where access to public transportation is critical. We were a two-block walk to a tramway that connected with Vienna's extraordinary underground rail system. As seniors (over age 60) we were able to use the public transport system at a well discounted rate. Everything we needed - from a local grocery to a couple of really great local eateries - were all close by, making our stay that much more enjoyable.

We found the apartment to be wonderfully located for ease of use of public transportation and really well appointed for every day living. There was a washer, naturally iron & ironing board, large bathroom with a wonderful shower, a quie , comfy and cool bedroom as well as a kitchen that had everything we needed. The outdoor space was very nice. It wasn't too loud but rather the noises of city living. We spent alot of time out there, planning for the day with morning coffee and evening nightcap before bedtime.
We especially liked the neighborhood feel, it isn't downtown rather where real people live. Restaurants nearby were very good and reasonably priced. Everything worked properly and was very clean. The owners were very helpful, upon our early arrival and as we tried to get a taxi to leave town.
Highly recommend, we truly enjoyed our stay here.
Theresa's apartment is very nice and very comfortable. Rail station can be walked to if active. Otherwise the bus is two blocks away. Although we never got to meet Theresa or Conny, she was prompt on her emails pre trip and gave clear instructions on getting to the apartment.
This is a non-smoking/no pets apartment. Smoking IS allowed, however, only in the garden.
