The apartment is located in the centre of Bucharest very close to the main attractions of the city. The apartment is in a relative new building finished in 1999 situated across the street from the Romanian National Library (Biblioteca Nationala a Romaniei) and House of Commerce.

Visitors coming by personal or rented car can be certain that they will find a free public parking right next to the building entrance (normally uncommon in big cities). The apartment is also very well connected with the public transport system with easy access form the airport / train station, for more information please do not hesitate to send us an inquiry.

The apartment is also conveniently placed for sightseers within walking distance from famous attractions like: Palace of Parliament (Casa Poporului), Old Town, CEC Palace, National Arena Stadium Bucharest, Carol Park (Parcul Carol), Tineretului Park, Patriarchal Cathedral, Cismigiu Gardens and many more.

For visitors in search of authentic romanian culinary experiences close by there are a multitude of well known, restaurants such as: Manuc's Inn (Hanul lui Manuc) and Caru’ cu bere. They are appreciate not only for the good quality food but also for the their atmosphere that recreates the life style of interbellum Bucharest.

“Heavy shoppers” can find close by two of the best malls (Vitan Mall and Unirii Shopping Center ), they house under one roof a multitude of international famous brand shops along with restaurants and a multitude of entertainment attractions (bowling, cinemas). Both centers offer childcare facilities and have private parking enabling visitors traveling with children and / or renting a car to enjoy Bucharest without the stress.

Relaxing time in Bucharest

This is a very nice and clean apartment, close to the city center. Within a 10minute walk, you find yourself near the historic center of Bucharest. The apartment is nicely decorated and is well-equipped. We had a very nice stay, and although the temperatures can rise during summer, the apartment is nicely cooled thanks to the airconditioning. No street noise, good internet connection. Taxis are available outside the building. The only downside was that my romanian friends' GPS couldn't find the exact location, however it's easy to access.

Great stay in Bucharest

Really enjoyed our stay in Bucharest. Catalina's mom met us at the apartment to let us in and show us around. The apartment was very clean and the pictures do not show how really nice this place is. All the amenities you need, large bedroom, lots of space, everything you need in the kitchen with a couple of nice balconies. It was a bit off the beaten path but once we figured out where we were, we had not problems. We are big walkers and we could walk just about any place. We were about a 10 minute walk from the older part of Bucharest and shopping. We tried to walk from the bus that we took in from the airport but ended up taking a taxi. Ask for directions and Catalina will send everything you need.

The only suggestion we might have is for a binder/book to be available that might let us know great places to eat, things to do, etc. Other spots we have stayed at offer this information and we always found it very informative and useful.

Overall, great spot to stay, it is in a locked building and we felt very safe. We walked home all hours of the day/night an never felt that we might be unsafe. I would highly recommend this spot as a place to stay. Thanks for everything Catalina!
