3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom with views of the Mediterranean Sea

This 3-Bedroom, 1 full bathroom, 1 2-piece bathroom, is located in Gualchos, which is about a 10 minute drive up the mountain from Castell de Ferro, 20 minutes from Motril. Conveniently located just over an hour from three major airports (Malaga, Almeria and Granada).

The house has 3 separate terraces: A large one on the main floor level, perfect for outside dining, another off the bedrooms and rooftop for sunbathing privacy. Balcony is also attached to the two front bedrooms. All terraces and balcony offer amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountains.

Kitchen includes: Full sized fridge/freezer, stove-top, oven, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker, kettle, juicer, sandwich maker, microwave, slow cooker.

BBQ area with sink and outside toaster oven.

Terrace has table, chairs, umbrella, loungers.

32" Flatscreen television, with media player for Kodi, Showbox and more. DVD player and electric fireplace located in living room. There are several dvds available to use. FREE WIFI.

Please note smoking is permitted on any one of the 3 terraces. It is only non-smoking for interior of property. Thank you

About Susan Bassett

This property was purchased as a retirement home for my husband and myself and a place for our family to visit. Unfortunately, my husband did not survive to retirement. I decided last year to offer my home for rent as I will only now be there during the Winter months (I live in Canada). I am originally from England.

What makes this house unique

Go have a go at playing petanca on Sundays and Wednesdays. It's good fun and there is a bar right there in the park.

If you enjoy hiking, there are many local trails. If you enjoy beaches, there are several within 10 to 20 minutes. Drive on up into the mountains for stunning views, or 1 hour to Granada to the Alhambra Palace.

Lovely Andalucian experience . . .

Experience living in a traditional Andalucian white village . . . the property is very roomy, with every convenience that you will need for your stay . . . Gualchos is a quiet village set into the backdrop of the Alpujarras mountain range . . . stunning views of the mountains and sea . . . lots of walks . . . the property is 4kms from the Costa Tropical and the small seaside town of Castell de Ferro . . . traditional beaches and bars that feed you for free!! . . . highly recommended . . .

Very Comfortable Stay

We have just returned from a week's holiday in Gualchos.

Susan's home is very clean and comfortable, well equipped and provided everything we needed for our stay.

Maggie and Ron gave us a great welcome when we arrived and made us feel at home.

The area is lovely and it is easy to get around. Gualchos itself is a proper Spanish working village. We had a couple of visits to the bar in the village's plaza where they provide delicious complimentary tapas.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Lovely house with all the facility's you would need. Three lovely outside areas all with great views for sun bathing/relaxing and dining.

Gualchos village is typically Spanish, unspoiled by tourism, with a couple of bars that serve food, a restaurant, and a small well stocked supermarket

A perfect base to explore this area, not far to the A7 (main motorway that runs all across southern Spain) The A7 is a pleasure to drive on, quiet with great views. A drive inland around the mountain roads rewards you with stunning views and white washed villages. Take the N340 coast road towards Motril (nice town) to discover unspoiled coves, beaches, and resorts.

The owner Sue is lovely and was great with communication and help, Maggie was also great on our arrival. .

Amazing place to relax and unwind

Very spacious and clean house with great views. Right in the heart of the village & the bread man in his van stops right by the house every morning. We will be returning next year
