Short walk to bars and restaurants at Junction end of town
Location is not bad. It would be quite a long walk to the Junction though. When paying good money would expect more basics to be provided, e.g. soap for handwashing, salt and pepper, gladwrap for packed lunches.
Good fire. Hard to shut front door, had to get help to figure that out.
Its a warm cosy property, that's quite close to the junction, nice setting by the lake. However the house could do with a good clean, as it was very dusty - window sills, shelves etc. The kitchen layout is poor, we searched endlessly for the kitchen light switch - which was behind the fridge, so inconvenient. The fridge also opens the wrong way so it was a very tight squeeze. I suggest that the house has a property manual with property details and a guide of local amenities available as well.
