Stay in Lake Cumberland's ultimate resort at a great price! This 2-bedroom first-floor lake-view unit offers lots to do at a great rate. Located in Building #10, our building is super-close to the giant community pool, tennis courts and restaurant, yet it still offers an awesome and private lake view from the large screened-in porch. You'll love the condo, up-to-date, tastefully decorated and updated, and plenty of room outside for playing, grilling, cornhole, and relaxing.

Woodson Bend Resort is located on a scenic 455 acre peninsula high above and surrounded by Lake Cumberland in southern Kentucky. Your view of heavily wooded foothills, the emerald green lake and limestone palisades rising over 300 feet above the water makes for a delightful setting for your vacation. PLEASE: No Smoking or Pets.

Worst I have ever stayed in

This condo was pretty bad and essentially reaffirmed why I like hotels more. Everything I have to say here I also have pictures of just in case anyone has something to say about it. 1. The master bed was the worst bed my wife and I have ever slept in. It was indented so bad that if you tried to roll to the edge or middle you would physically roll back down in your hole. Also when laying there your feet are higher than your head. 2. Supply/return air vents....I couldn't tell if the nasty crud around those was mold or just nasty crud that no one has ever bothered to clean. 3. Back porch sliding door.........has anyone ever put grease or something on that so it didn't take an adult with two hands and muscle to shut it? 4. Back porch is nice but if you don't want another person 10 feet away on their back porch listening to your conversation then you should forget about this place. 5. The metal toilet paper holder without the hex set screw installed does make a loud noise when hitting the tile floor at 2 am. 6. A plastic light shade was resting on the light bulb which in return started smoking. Honest mistake until I take a closer look and can tell that it wasn't the first time that has happened......real safe. 7. Cobwebs all around the ceilings and in the corners. 8. It took me a little bit to figure out what felt off but when you are walking down the hall from the master bedroom to the living room/kitchen the floor is slanted....higher on the left and lower on the right.......is that structurally safe? 9. All of the towels were stacked on the dresser in the master bedroom........there is a nice little closet in the hallway about 8 feet from this dresser that would make a nice spot for these. 10. In need of a serious TV upgrade. I will stop there.....it is obvious no one really cares about the condition of this place and wants you to pay while they do the least amount possible. These are the worst accomodations I have ever stayed in and I will never stay at this "resort" again. There is no attention to detail here. I don't ever give reviews but I couldn't allow another person to stay here knowing what I just went through.

It says 3 stars, but 2.5 at best!

I realize this is not the owner's fault, but upon arrival the unit was not clean. So we spent the first hour cleaning and documenting the damaged items in the unit (multiple broken chairs and end table, extremely worn furniture, including mattresses). This info has been passed to the owner to rectify, but the jury is still out. It was probably one of the cheaper units available, but if you wanted a comfortable place to sit or sleep, it was a challenge.

Perfect Weekend for Family

This condo was great and Mark was so helpful and hospitable. Not only did we enjoy the condo, but the pool and playground for our 5 year old grandson was absolutely wonderful. We definitely would like to return!
