Stay and see!
We had such a wonderful stay! everything was ready to go and the place was extremely clean. Lots of room with three bedrooms and very comfortable
Perfect for my extended family. My teenage boys loved to hang out downstairs, play ping pong and have their own space. Gave the adults some peace and quiet too! No access to the lake but the public launches arent too far away.
Our family had a great time at this beautiful home for an escape. There are plenty of TV's in the home in case if the weather is not so kind. The owner is very cool and answers if there are any questions promptly. The only things I would recommend are newer mattresses and just some sound insulation. Over all this place is a nice place to visit. Nice and peaceful with a fire pit where a family can escape the stress of the high paced lives we live in today.
Thank you very much again
We had a great weekend at this property. The owner was great to work with. He gave us all of the information that we needed ahead of time. The place is very nice and well maintained. There are 3 large bedrooms. The one downstairs that has multiple beds does not have a door on it so it can get loud when people are utilizing the next room over. The master bedroom was beautiful with a very nice bathroom attached. There was a lot of room on the property and we sat by the fire one night. There are some logs to sit on next to the fire. We brought camping chairs and used the logs as tables. The lake is a short drive away. We rented a pontoon there one day and had a blast cruising along the lake. There are also some biking paths near by so we rented bikes one day and explored them.
The only con to this place is that there is no garbage service. I believe that it just isn't offered out that far so the owner doesn't have a choice. Unfortunately, that meant riding in an SUV 4 hours home with garbage.
Overall we had a great time and would love to say again in the future!
We were searching for a place for a get together with our 2 adult sons and their families that wasn't too far from Wisconsin Dells, but in a more natural setting, on a lake or nearby.
There were 2 bedrooms on the upper level with comfy queen beds and lots of storage. The master bath is very spacious with a huge shower and two separate shower heads. The second bath has a shower and tub. There is a full size washer and dryer. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, an electric griddle, full sized side be side frig/freezer, paper towels, toilet paper, dish and dishwasher soap - the only thing we noted missing was a blender and cookie type sheet pans.
There is a nice sized dining area...the table is a bit small but the deck is right off this area and there was a table on it we used as well. We used the grill often and the wrap around deck is aweSeveral deck chairs are available but we brought along 4 as well. Be prepared fOr mosquitoes!
The inside is great room concept with huge double patio doors that allow wonderful views... We saw a raccoon, deer and turkey. There is a giant pit sofa and a large chaise, along with a wood burning fireplace. The ceiling is a beautiful knotty pine which adds to the cabin ambience.
The lower level had a queen size bed and a queen size blow up mattress that worked great for the four grand kids. There is a 3rd bathroom in progress with sink and toilet functioning...yet to be finished is the shower. It does need a door for privacy.
The other part of this level has a nice bar and refrigerator, a fossball table and combo pool/ping pong table.
There are three large screen T Vs ( cable and Netflix) along with wifi connection. The chalet is located on 2 wooded acres with a walking path through the woods, a large fire pit and firewood supplied. The owner also set up a very nice large Coleman tent with a huge blow up mattress which the 4 grandkids really loved.
The upkeep on the house and amenities were excellen The owner was very accessible via texting/phone and friendly. It is obvious he has pride of ownership.
We brought along 2 kayaks and found a lovely little beach and picnic area in the state park that we spent a day enjoying. It was less than 5 minutes away. Fee
the guys tried their hand at fishing but no success in that arena.
Another day we rented a pontoon which we picked up at ship wrecks bar and grill, along with a huge tube and had a
