My family (8 adults, 9 children) had a wonderful experience at Sekon Lodge. The setting was so beautiful. We enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around porch listening to the birdsong and watching the loons.

The first few days were rainy and cool yet the log burning fireplace made a cozy environment for games and fun.

The canoe, kayak, and row boat were also in use rain or shine with exploring the lake and fishing.

We spent a day in Lake Placid and at the new Wild Walk at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake.

Five in our group also did a midnight climb (or sunrise summit) of Mt. Marcy.

The Lodge itself had plenty of comfortable bedrooms, 2 refrigerators and fully equipped kitchen. We highly recommend Sekon Lodge. Perfect....

Beautiful! An Adirondack gem!

  • 5 of 5

This is a gorgeous rustic Adirondack home with an amazing view of Upper Saranac Lake. It is large, easily accommodating our three families. It is clean and well-maintained. Although rustic, it still hosts amenities such as a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and wifi. We enjoy kayaking, canoeing and swimming- it could not be a more perfect setting for water activities. A climb up Panther Mtn. is right around the corner, which is a nice hike for young and old alike (with amazing views at the top!). The large wrap-around porch looks right out to the lake, making it the perfect spot to relax with a book or just take in the beautiful surroundings. This was our 8th year staying at this property and we already look forward to going back next year!

Beautiful, large lakehouse with all the amenities

  • 5 of 5

My party of 20 had an awesome time at this lakehouse. The owner was very accommodating and helpful before, during and after our visit. The cottage itself is HUGE, easily sleeps 20 adults comfortably. To our surprise, the home was fully stocked with all amenities we could have asked for, including a beautiful modern kitchen. The lake itself is great, nice warm water in June and well-kept yards. The closest town, Tupper Lake, is only ~5 mins down the road so it is very convenient for grabbing food, supplies, etc.

The only thing to be aware of is that this is a bit less secluded that I initially thought and that is on me for not asking ahead of time. The cottage is party of 4-5 cottages in close proximity

I highly recommend this place for mid to large size groups!
