The Bass family welcomes you to your home away from home. This updated 3 BR 3 B condo overlooking the Gulf has everything you could want from home, yet everything you need for vacation. Perfect for entertaining and cozy enough for utter relaxation. Drift from the well-appointed kitchen and family room to the spacious deck that overlooks the pool and Gulf of Mexico. Plan meals at the expandable dining table or al fresco on the deck. If you are a cook, you'll find the kitchen is set up for meals of all sizes and complexity and no expense has been spared to keep the kitchen up to date and useable. Stainless steel appliances and granite were recently added to update the functional kitchen.

After a long day of lounging in the sun, playing volleyball on the sugar white sand or swimming in the emerald green waters, head upstairs for sunset on the deck or a welcome cool shower. You'll rest easy from a long tiring day in one of the two pillow top king size Sleep Number beds. 2 full beds and a sleeper sofa round out the sleeping capacity to 10. Blackout shades are there for the late sleeper or afternoon nap time and all three rooms are outfitted with flat screen TVs.

At the Commodore you are within walking or short driving distance to some of the most popular restaurants on the Gulf Coast including Captain Anderson's, a Southern Living Reader's Choice multiyear winner and Liza's, a local's favorite. You can also be at St Andrews State Park, Miracle Strip, Wonderworks or Shipwreck Island within 10 to 20 minutes. The luxurious 30A area is a short 40 minutes to upscale dining and shopping. For the boat lovers, three full service marinas are literally within walking distance. Golf options abound with public courses at Signal Hill, Holiday, Bay Point, Hombre, and Sharks Tooth - the famous Greg Norman designed course.

If you don't want to leave the complex, there are many options including a Gulf front pool, kiddie pool, hot tub Jacuzzi, shuffle board and picnic/grilling area.

Great location and very spacious

The property location was wonderful! The beach was not crowded at all. The rooms were very spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked, even had some of the basic items like salt and pepper! My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The only concern we had was that we found out 3 days prior to arrival that the thermostat was not supposed to be set below 74 degrees (we usually set our home temp at 65 at night). This concerned me at first, but once we got there and turned the fans on the condo stayed cool and it was not a problem at all.

Will definitely return to this location.

Poor Customer Service and rude pool manager(guard)

I wish i could leave a good review. Lets start from the beginning. Upon our arrival we noticed:

-all the batteries were taken out of the remote controllers

-The condo did not look like anything on the photos. It was outdated and old.

-Dirty pillowcases that had stains on them(have not been changed we assume)

-The pool was so tiny and it was divided by the rope for little kids and adults(for the condo so big it was not fair for the pool to be so little)

-The meanest security pool guy ever you will meet. Argued with me, insulated me in front of the people by the pool,scared my girl to death she couldn't sleep at night and he was also getting on other people that owned some condos in the building. Please consider other place if you don't want to be supervised every few min.

He will tell you what you can and cant do outside and will hurt your feelings.

Good things:

-The beach and nice weather

That's about it.

Not kid friendly, no playgrounds on the beach or close by,not much to do... Beach chairs are extremely expensive to rent,so consider bringing your own.

For some reason emailed the manager about security guy, but never heard back, which is a common thing i guess when you have to deal with managers not with owners.

I wish we knew about small things like this before we booked.

Relaxing week at the beach

This was our second time staying in this lovely condo. The furniture was comfortable, the unit clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The grounds are nicely manicured with a lovely pool area and convenient grill area. We like this quite end of the beach. Must try Patches next door--so good and convenient. Enjoyed golf, mini golf, St. Andrews Park and lounging on the beach. Would like to stay here again. The Majhers and Chaffins

Beautiful Property

We love this property. This is the second year we stayed here. The condo is spacious enough for our whole family and beautiful too. We love the location on the beach as well. We walk to the St. Andrews park at sunset most nights! The beach is beautiful and clean. Also we enjoy watching the big ships come in and out, that you would not see on down the beach. The rental was easy and flawless. Everything was just as it was suppose to be, both years!! The beds are very comfortable too! Love the granite counter tops, and the huge balcony! Would love to stay here again!!!!!

Great Family Vacation Condo

We have a large family and need a large condo to accommodate us all. This unit was spacious and had enough room for everyone. Nice full kitchen as well. We've stayed here before and notice that they have updated some of the furniture. Good TV's in all rooms, and sleep number bed in the master. Nice beach and ocean view from two bedrooms and living room. We checked in a little early, and realized we weren't left enough towels/washrags and sheets for the pull-out bed, but Brenton was easy to get in touch with and provided the extra items we needed! Beach isn't too crowded in this area, and it's very near St. Andrews and it's pier. Wonderful location for a family vacation.

Great week on PCB

We had a great stay at the Commodore! We love being at the less crowded end of the beach, near St. Andrews and away from the traffic. The water could not have been more beautiful! The unit itself was as described. We are familiar with the complex and know it is an older establishment, however it still has everything needed for a great vacation. The washing machine in the unit was not working when we got there, but management sent a repair man out immediately and all was well. Otherwise any other small issues were not enough to affect our enjoyment. I would suggest possibly getting rid of some of the bulky furniture on the balcony, it really makes it feel too crowded. We loved being on the 3rd floor so we didn't have to use the elevator and we made use of the public charcoal grills 2 different nights. The gate keepers, security, front desk and beach chair rental staff were all friendly and helpful.
