Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths Sleeps 4
Why Lynn Clarke chose Dahlonega
Cabin is my haven when I need some ME time and to get some rest. My work is in Florida but my heart is in the North Georgia Mountains. It occurred to me that others may need the same get away that I do, so I lease the cabin when I am not using it. Once you visit I know you will fall in love with it as I have...Robert
What makes this Cabin unique
Most unique is its location. Surrounding me is pasture, lots of trees and a creek meanders down one side. In front is a small pond where you can try your hand at fishing. There is a large gray crane 'we call Henry' that hangs around pond looking for frogs. Past guest have seen deer and turkey milling around for food. In late afternoon you can enjoy a roaring fire in the pit next to the pond and try your hand at making S'mores.. When you are ready to explore, a short walk down the road will bring you to a large creek and forest service property marked with red paint. Take all the time you wish to explore and even do a little gold panning in creek.

Perfect Home Base
We were in town for my nephew's wedding. We weren't familiar with the area but the cabin ended up being in a great location to get to all of the events. The downstairs set up was perfect for my 92 year old mother. Wish we had more time to have enjoyed the property and beautiful surroundings.
Sweet little cabin in such a beautiful setting!
We loved our stay in this roomy cabin. My daughters and cousin had a great time here. I loved sitting on the front porch and listening to the cows moo ( you cannot hear them inside the cabin). Close to Helen and Dahlonega. Easy roads to travel on and easy to get too. Gives you a far away feeling but there are other homes on the road so you are not totally isolated. The property manager was excellent and very responsive. I would absolutely stay here again. I loved it!
We loved the property, so peaceful, hearing God's creatures sounds at night, and seeing ones during the day. Very relaxing there.
Retirement fact finding

Nice Family Getaway
Loved the farmhouse decor and property...has everything you would need to prepare you own meals, make coffee or grill, beds and furniture were very comfortable to our family. The front porch is perfect to relax in the rockers listening to the beauty of nature....the birds, the wonderful toads, the rushing creek, the mooing cows, and watching the fireflies at night. Rockers on backporch too, and extra outside folding chairs on frontporch...also a bench at the creek. Our son enjoyed fishing in the small pond and caught/released a few, walked alot in the creek, enjoyed skipping rocks, and loved making smores at the firepit. Plenty of space and seating in both bedrooms. Blinds on all windows in the house. Lovely kitchen table has room for six so there is plenty of space to play cards, or a boardgame or enjoy a meal together. No issues for us finding the property. Good parking in the driveway, and also had WiFi and good TV service. A couple of other houses are on the same road as the property, but it was still very quiet during our stay. It was a beautiful mountain drive to the property with Dahlonega, and Helen both just a short drive away which gave many options for dining, and adventure. Homeowner was very cordial in emails, and responded to questions in a quick time frame. This was our first rental through VRBO, and it was a positive experience.
