About Kevin & Susan Lamb

We are the Lamb family from Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada. For many years our family operated a beach-side cottage resort called Landmark on the Beach located on the gorgeous shores of Georgian Bay. We enjoyed helping people make their summer beach vacations awesome. We still own a beachfront cottage and love sharing it with family and friends. As Canadians, we use our local cottage only during the summer months. Wouldn't it be wonderful, we asked ourselves, to take advantageous of beautiful summer weather all year long? We christened our Caribbean 'cottage' Little Landmark in honor of our mum who created our family business and all those cottage memories. We love visiting Little Landmark where we are making new memories with a new generation of Lambs. What St. Lucia memories will you take home with you?

After we visited St. Lucia, we fell in love with this beautiful country—a small island that gave us a big welcome! When the opportunity to purchase a new condo from the builder came along in Villas on the Green, we jumped at the chance to own a piece of paradise. We use our Caribbean getaway for one month every winter. We rent a car (really affordable and easy to arrange) and divide our time between touring the island, playing golf, enjoying the nightlife, and just being beach bums. The rest of the year, we offer this beautiful condo to you as your own Caribbean home away from home.

What makes this villa unique

The experience of a staying at a luxury Caribbean resort is like none other—but so is the price! And, no matter how luxurious, you have the inevitable limitations of hotel life. Little Landmark combines the conveniences of home with the advantages of a resort.

At Little Landmark, you can spend all day on the same fantastic beaches enjoyed by resort guests (there are no private beaches in St. Lucia)—you can even use your guest membership at Cap Maison Resort and enjoy the same perks—and then return to your spacious town house with all the comforts and conveniences of home: kitchen with quality appliances such as full fridge with ice maker, oven, deluxe blender, and microwave. There are several grocery stores in Rodney Bay stocked with familiar staples, gourmet items, and Caribbean favourites (a bottle of banana ketchup goes home with us every time we visit!). The Rodney Bay area also sports lots of great restaurants to try on the beach, downtown, and at the marina overlooking the busy port. The Chinese restaurant does take-away and the Domino’s Pizza delivers to the condo. After a day exploring the island, buy groceries or grab take out—serve a gourmet supper at a well-appointed table or eat in front of the TV—enjoy twilight cocktails on the private balcony or read in bed with the Caribbean breeze and a cup of tea. Rise early for your day trip to the Pitons by private taxi (so affordable, ask us!) or sleep in and surf the internet over coffee. Condo vacations represent the best of both worlds, combining the wonders and indulgences of being on holiday with the pleasures, conveniences, and affordability of home.

Look no further...

I spent a great deal of time looking for places to stay on the island and am so glad I chose Villas on the Green. It is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with extremely comfortable beds. Kevin was very easy to work with and provided us with a great deal of information on attractions, restaurants, etc. We arrived after dark and Debbie was wonderful and met us at Rodney Bay Marina to show us the way to the villa. Be sure to visit her family restaurant in Gros Islet "Duke's Place", for an excellent, inexpensive meal. I recommend renting a car to be able to enjoy the island. I would highly recommend staying at Villas on the Green.

Beautiful new pool this year!

Once again we had a wonderful week at Little Landmark. The addition of the pool this year was a welcome sight. It was a great place to visit with the other vacationers, or enjoy an evening dip to cool down before bed. We love our annual visit to Saint Lucia, knowing that we have excellent, quality accommodation. We would highly recommend this condo, especially if you're planning an extended stay. Thanks Kevin!

Brilliant location

The villa is in a very pretty location overlooking the golf course. It is just far enough away from the main tourist areas to be peaceful and restful but not too far to travel to the main shopping centre and beaches. After a day of sightseeing or swimming off the local beaches it was lovely to come back and relax in the quiet and pretty surroundings. The swimming pool at Villas on the Green is lovely and we made use of it many times. We visited Windjammers Resort and Cap Maison Resort which are both gorgeous. The Rodney Bay Marina is a great place to spend an evening. A car is definately necessary as the bus stop is quite a walk away.

We gave the villa 4 stars as we felt it was only let down a bit by the kitchen which could do with some updating. The rest of the villa is spacious and light and we loved sitting on the balcony off the main bedroom in the morning. We hope to visit again in three years time and will be looking at this villa to rent next time.

Formidable expérience!

Nous avons séjourné 10 jours avec nos enfants de 9 et 12 ans dans cette superbe et confortable villa, Little Landmark. Nous nous sentions en parfaite sécurité avec le gardien qui surveille attentivement les allées et venues des résidents.Tout était génial! La cuisine est TRÈS bien équipée (lave-vaisselle, Mixeur à smoothies, poêle à crêpes etc.), bref, tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison mais avec en prime, un paysage magnifique et une luxuriante végétation! Les superbes plages des hotels Cap maison et Body Holiday (Le Sport) sont à 5 minutes en voiture!

La baignade dans le petit plunge pool était bien appréciée durant l'apéro et au petit matin. Les chambres climatisées sont confortables, les lits sont douillets et la décoration est de bon goût.

La situation géographique de la villa Little Landmark est parfaite! Un peu en retrait de l'agitation de Rodney Bay mais à seulement 10 minutes en voiture lorsque vous souhaitez vous y rendre pour l'épicerie, les restaurants ou les bars. Ne manquez pas le fish fry party du vendredi soir à Gros-Islet qui est également situé à 10 minutes en voiture... Musique, danse, délicieuses langoustes et BBQ vous y attendent dans une ambiance animée et festive!

Nous recommandons fortement cette villa de Cap Estate, un secteur très classe de Sainte-Lucie!

Nous y retournerons assurément et remercions Kevin pour cette merveilleuse vacance sous son toit!

A wonderful vacation getaway

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Little Landmark and must say a huge thank you and congratulations to Kevin and Susan on creating their own little corner of Caribbean paradise. The villa is located in within a small but exceptionally well maintained, secure estate and the setting is really beautiful and tranquil. We hired a car at the airport and drove to the property, keeping the vehicle for the duration of our stay. A car is necessary for at least part if not all of your stay to explore the island and get around locally to the restaurants, supermarkets etc. The villa was very well supplied with quality linens and towels and spotless in terms of cleanliness. As keen golfers it was a delight to find a warm welcome at the nearby clubhouse where the members and we were able to arrange very favourable green fees as we played the course a few times. The one slight disappointment was that the arrangement for swimming at Cotton Bay mentioned in the property's description is now with another resort who refused us entry when we turned up with the card supplied. All was not lost however and thanks to the help of our rep Anne, we were able to use the facilities at Cotton Bay after all even though, being low season, the resort was more or less closed. The pool there was described to us as being amongst the best on the island and it was indeed spectacular. We had it all to ourselves and enjoyed a dip and 2 minute stroll to the nearby beach. Anyone visiting VOTG will not be disappointed - whether you decide to have a lazy day 'at home' or venture afield, you will find all that you need. Finally many thanks to Kevin who answered all our questions promptly and gave us great advice prior to our arrival and to Anne who met us at the villa and was on hand to sort out the few small glitches promptly and with a pleasant smile. We hope to be back soon.

Perfect alternative for resort vacation

This is a perfect place for those of you who want to avoid traditional all-in resort type of holidays. The house is located in a quite golf area and offers all the comfort you need. Within a 10 min drive , you are at Pigeon island or Rodney Bay where you find the long sandy Reduit beach with all type of water sport activities. The romantic Marigot Bay is not more than a 45 min drive and Castries market is within 30 min.
