Good times in Boston, trouble with billing

We had a lovely visit. However, the billing almost a month later has not been resolved. I would appreciate a call from the billing department to settle this matter. I answered no to the last question because of the lack of communication about our billing.

Owner's Response: We have been in direct correspondence with Gail Still about her billing question before her visit and after her visit. The billing was spot on, down to the penny, but its not the answer she wants to hear. We will continue to answer the same question for as long as she keeps asking!

Owner's Response: We do everything we can to take great care of our guests and we think the hundreds of glowing reviews we have had paint a more realistic picture. In this case, the Guest called us to say there was "no hot water" four days into her stay. There could be several causes for unit-wide lack of hot water... hot water tank failure or pilot light out, no fuel coming thru, etc. We asked a few follow up questions so we could appropriately call and dispatch the correct service company and to not delay the solution. We heard back a few hours later that it was only the "bathroom" that had no hot water. That is an entirely different situation and no causes immediately come to mind. We tried to contact the guest again to arrange a visit, but she had already rang another unit doorbell and asked the tenant there to help. The problem wasn't the unit as a whole, or even the entire bathroom... just the shower hot water. The tenant graciously showed her how to rotate the handle for hot water. Handle goes up to turn the water on and left and right twist to control the temperature. Once the shower handle was rotated to the right there was plenty of hot water. We did our best to communicate with the guest but it fell short of her expectations.

Don't be dismayed by the state of the neighborhood on your way to this apartment. Yes, the area is run down and filled with sketchy houses and people. However, you wanted to see Boston right? This is one side of it. The apartment itself is actually very nice. The building is old, so the floor boards creek and you can hear the neighbor upstairs. The only big drawback with this place is the communication with the landlords. Everything is done through email or the app. The app constantly reminds you of the upcoming trip and pushes advertisements to your phone. When I tried to get my security deposit back I tried emailing and calling them several times and eventually got a response several days after I first tried to contact them.

Owner's Response: Thanks Stephen. If you read the information we sent you would have known that security deposits are charged 10 days prior to arrival and returned 10 days after departure. Your security deposit was refunded earlier than 10 days which we try to do.
