Very clean and quiet place. Had minor issue with water drainage in bathroom sink and shower with owner resolving very quickly.
Would highly recommend staying at this location. Fair price for a great location.
First of all, the unit pictured in the ad is not necessarily the one you will be renting. But I am assuming that the photos are VERY flattering. It is a very old, very tired building nestled on a residential street. Our unit looked out on a fence and plants only a few feet away. Very claustrophobic. The unit seemed to be clean, but the tiled floor certainly wasn't. The white socks we wore in the unit were filthy - we actually threw them out when we left. There were also many "visitors" - little lizards and centipedes - sooo many places for them to enter the unit.
The bed and linens were the most redeeming feature, so for that we were thankful. And it is a very short walk, even shorter drive, to the beach and the shops and restaurants. There were not extra cleaning fees or service charges, thank Heaven!
I would never recommend staying here!
My friend and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. Checking in was a matter of reading the email from Dan and following simple instructions. Extra toilet paper and towels were self-serve. Quiet hours from 11 pm - 7 am. Lido Beach is a five minute walk away. The king-sized bed has a firm mattress. The bathroom and kitchen are dated, but everything works. Who comes to Lido Beach to stay inside, anyway?
Our family had a great experience staying here. It felt homie. The condo was clean and equipped. We highly recommend people wanting to relax and bound with their love ones to consider this place.
Stayed a few days in one of the rooms at the Lido Islander. I was a little unhappy when I first arrived and found no paper towels in kitchen because there was water on the floor from us unloading the cooler. There was also no dish towel in our unit. I had to go to the supply locker outside the room and get a couple. The room was clean, but the blinds looked in sad shape. Loved the big bedroom. The bed was comfy. The bathroom in our unit was small but was alright for just my husband and I. The pictures on the website are not necessarily of the unit you will have. We had rain during our visit but still walked down to the beach. It was not a far walk at all, but we didn't haul anything with us. Overall, it was a value for the few days we stayed. Just take paper towels and napkins with you!
We stayed the weekend for a wedding and it was spacious and clean and comfortable. It was priced the same as a hotel room that didn't have a kitchen or a living and dining area. We will definitely stay there again we were very pleased. Helpful and very nice staff.
