Just what we needed!!!

  • 5 of 5

I visited London with my husband and two young children (1 and 4 yrs old). I was looking for a place were my children would feel comfortable and was a quiet retreat but still close to all the attractions. This is exactly what we needed. First off I would say the pictures DO NOT do the apartment justice. It is SO beautiful and much more spacious than it appears in the pictures. It was spotless nd had all the amenities we needed. There is also a very nice private garden in the back with trees and foliage and birds singing that my kids enjoyed running around in while we ate at the patio table. Everything was just perfect and very comfortable. It is on a quiet street but you turn the corner and you are on Warwick road where you can hop on the tube at Earls court station to all the attractions which are just a few stops away (10 mins to Buckingham palace, 5 mins to the Natural History Museum). There is also a huge TESCO down the street (10 min walk) which saved us loads of money with their great tasty selection of ready made dishes and fresh foods. Westfield shopping mall is a little further but a short bus ride away. Also if you want to rent a car, a neighbour has paid parking a few doors down.

Last but not least Leaia and Natalia were absolutely wonderful at checking up on us to make sure we were very comfortable and had what we needed through out our stay. I have absolutely no complaints and I would say I was a difficult customer with my young kids but they were very happy there as well! I would strongly suggest staying here. Its a great neighborhood and apartment and you will be happy you chose it.

Charming Earl's Court Flat Offers Perfect Home Base for Site Seeing

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this delightful home nestled in Earl's Court. This charming flat is located within easy walking distance from both the Earl's Court and West Brompton Tube stations, and was only a few tube stops away from the touristy areas of London. This made for the perfect home base for my family of 3 on our first trip to London.

Earl's Court offered a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the areas where tourists flock. I would describe it as an urban residential area, as there are handy shops a short walk from the flat - Boots (pharmacy), Odd Bins (a wine shop), a mini Tesco and M&S (grocery chains) - where we were able to pick up a few items to make simple breakfasts and tea/coffee each morning before heading out. There's also a good pizza place not far as well as our favorite pub of the trip, The Blackbird, where we enjoyed a few meals after long days of site seeing.

The flat was clean and well-decorated. The windows in the living area open to the back enclosed yard area, which lets in plenty of natural light. We found the bed in the bedroom to be very comfortable and the sofa in the living area was fine for one to sleep on. There was also a rollaway bed which we did not use. We did use the floor fans at night for circulation but we were never hot. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom and small toiletries, which were great to have upon our arrival. The kitchen was stocked with the basic serving ware as well as dish soap and paper towels. The washer/dryer combo there was small but perfect for washing a few necessities. We did not use the patio area as much as we had expected, but it did give us the feeling of privacy and was a nice patch of green to look at while the tea is brewing! Overall, the street was very quiet and we all slept well.

Natalia was very responsive to our e-mails prior to the trip and provided excellent service, including some suggestions for dining, shopping, the best route to her flat from the Tube and how best to travel to and from the our airport. We felt very much at home here during our stay and would recommend it to couples or small families visiting London.

Just about as quiet and cozy as imagined

  • 5 of 5

Just as anticipated, light, clean, modern, cheery flat. We kept the windows open and enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the birds in the garden space in the back. it was perfect for our 8 day stay, some meals taken in and some nearby restaurants. Location is perfect Circle, District & Piccadilly Lines at Earls Court Tube stop. Absolutelywe suggest this to the sophisticated travelers. Well done, much to be appreciated here!

Great stay. Great location. Easy logistics

  • 5 of 5

Nice flat for 2. Our 1yr old daughter was with us. Figured extra bed would not work for her. Couch was fine. We explored the area and all of central London. Nothing more than 30 minutes away including walk to underground and a transfer.

Perfect flat for the Chelsea F an

  • 4 of 5

Loved the flat, it's in an amazing location if you're looking to catch a Chelsea football game. In between two tube stations, you will be able to get around to any part of the UK with no issues.

Great location

  • 3 of 5

The apartment was in a great location. The only problem we had was that we were given 3 towels for the 4 us for 8 days. There was a washer but no dryer so we couldn't even wash them. I was told she would be bringing more but never did. The heat in the apartment doesn't work well either so be sure to have warm clothes while your in there. There is only one key to the apartment which made it difficult to split up. All minor issues but something they can hopefully make better.

Owner's Response: I apologize sincerely for all discomforts. In my defense I could only say that at the time my Father had passed away and I had sent the substitute manager to look after you. All she needed to do was to give you extra keys, enough towels and to show how the heating works correctly. OR, all the Heating information was in your Guest manual, if you cared to read. Needless to say, the lady no longer works with us. Washer/Dryer: in United Kingdom not many apartments have a dryer, but to accommodate our guests - now we have purchased a Brand New washer/dryer
