I visited London with my husband and two young children (1 and 4 yrs old). I was looking for a place were my children would feel comfortable and was a quiet retreat but still close to all the attractions. This is exactly what we needed. First off I would say the pictures DO NOT do the apartment justice. It is SO beautiful and much more spacious than it appears in the pictures. It was spotless nd had all the amenities we needed. There is also a very nice private garden in the back with trees and foliage and birds singing that my kids enjoyed running around in while we ate at the patio table. Everything was just perfect and very comfortable. It is on a quiet street but you turn the corner and you are on Warwick road where you can hop on the tube at Earls court station to all the attractions which are just a few stops away (10 mins to Buckingham palace, 5 mins to the Natural History Museum). There is also a huge TESCO down the street (10 min walk) which saved us loads of money with their great tasty selection of ready made dishes and fresh foods. Westfield shopping mall is a little further but a short bus ride away. Also if you want to rent a car, a neighbour has paid parking a few doors down.
Last but not least Leaia and Natalia were absolutely wonderful at checking up on us to make sure we were very comfortable and had what we needed through out our stay. I have absolutely no complaints and I would say I was a difficult customer with my young kids but they were very happy there as well! I would strongly suggest staying here. Its a great neighborhood and apartment and you will be happy you chose it.
This is a beautiful property on a quiet street in Earl’s Court that is minutes from every convenience. Natalia was accommodating and responsive through the rental process and during our stay. Our flight from Arizona was delayed by 5 hours, and we arrived much later than we had expected. Roman met us at the apartment, and provided us with the keys and information needed for our stay. The apartment is well maintained, spotlessly clean, and appointed with high end furnishings. We enjoyed the convenience of the full kitchen, relaxed on the spacious patio, and enjoyed a comfortable sleep in the private master bedroom. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, if that is important to you. The proximity to the tube station, restaurants, and grocery shopping is no more than a 10 minute walk. If you are considering a vacation rental in Kensington, you will not be disappointed if you choose this property. We hope to return in the near future. Thank you Natalia and Roman!
My husband and I spent a week in London staying at this lovely apartment. It couldn't have been more convenient to the Earl's Court tube station. From there, you can go anywhere! But, it was also enjoyable to shop for groceries at local markets or choose from a variety of restaurants within just a few blocks of the apartment. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped. We also enjoyed the little back patio. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family!
A great apartment. Close to a subway stop with two lines Picadily and District which makes it very well connected since this lines take you pretty much every where you want to go without transfering. Mark & Spencers food is very close in order to get precooked meals.
The garden is really a great option and the apartment is cozily decorated. It is a very professional managed.
My husband & I enjoyed our stay in London. It was due, in great part, to our lovely flat & the owner Natasha. Everything was great, but the location was perfect. Very close to the two underground stops, & it was walking distance to Tesco & nice restaurants. We enjoyed the Cambio de Tercio (we had the set menu, they also have tapas). The Atlas Pub had great food. We were fortunate to meet Natasha, & she was very helpful. We enjoyed several nice evenings in our cute garden.
We thoroughly enjoyed our eight day stay at Kempsford Gardens in March. The apartment was exactly as advertised, and the owner, Natasha, and Leia, her property manager, were delightful to deal with. Leia met us as promised when we arrived and ran through everything we needed to know. The flat was easy to reach by tube from Heathrow, following the excellent directions provided, and it really is only a short walk to both shopping and the tube station(s). We appreciated the good heating system , virtually instant hot water, having a nice tv to watch in the evenings when we returned from sight-seeing, and the comfortable bed. As well, we found the flat to be very clean and tastefully appointed. In short, it was exactly the type of accommodation we hoped for when we made the booking. -Pam and John Meagher
