About the property

Tropical Villa on the West Coast, cool, breezy, fully secured

Villa at Vuemont

Vuemont Barbados is located on the highly desirable West Coast in the Parish of St Peter. The Lifestyle Resort's facilities include a clubhouse with catering facilities, a lap pool, jacuzzi, gym, commercial centre with convenience store, jogging paths, floodlit tennis courts, picnic areas and split level swimming pools. There is also round-the-clock security for your peace of mind. The development is set on a ridge overlooking Port St. Charles where the cool breezes add to the picturesque location. You are 5 minutes to the West Coast and 15 minutes to the wild East Coast. For your convenience a car is recommended to explore the island. This lovely 2-bed/2-bath detached villa is tastefully furnished and features a beautiful garden with gully and partial sea views, a spacious patio, a/c units and ceiling fans in both bedrooms.

Tropical Villa provides you with easy access to the magnificent white sand of west coast beaches including Mullins, Paynes Bay and Sandy Lane, also, the spectacular scenery of North Point, the east coast and surf paradise Bathsheba.

St Nicholas Abbey - a carefully preserved plantation estate, steeped in history with guided tours featuring sugar and rum production is 15 minutes from Vuemont; so too, is the Sir Frank Hutson sugar museum and Arlington House, an 18th century 'Great House' museum. Codrington College on the east coast - and the Barbados Museum in Bridgtown also provide great insights to the history of the island. The Barbados Wildlife Reserve and Flower Forest show off the animals and plants of the island. At the reserve, if you do not see them in the wild, you will find the Barbados green monkeys. Harrisons Caves offers a comfortable tour of the world beneath your feet.

Top class golf courses including Royal Westmoreland, Apes Hill -which also houses polo - and Sandy Lane, are all in easy reach.

Should you need a culinary treat, eating options can be found a short ride from Vuemont along the nearby west coast, from homestyle 'Bajan' cuisine to international fare with local ingredients and menus.

Barbados has sailing, boating, surfing and wind-surfing, fishing, scuba diving, submersible dives on 'Atlantis', international music festivals, polo, cricket, horse racing, art galleries, duty free shopping, museums, sports bars, night clubs featuring local and regional music, the ‘Cropover’ festival which marks the end of the sugar cane season… so much more.

After arrival in Barbados, en route to 'Vuemont Villa', why not stop for fresh coconut water straight from the nut? Ask the vendor to produce a 'spoon' from the husk then eat the soft jelly inside. For a few dollars you can take away a carton of fresh coconut water - what better with some ice and rum on the 'Vuemont Villa' patio?

Diverse water and other sports, country walks, tours, sightseeing, history, culture, music shows and festivals, great cuisine - can all be part of your visit to Vuemont Villa

For those who seek peace and relaxation, ‘Vuemont Villa’ will provide a welcome escape. However, nearby Hometown and Speighstown with a wide range of restaurants, bars and excellent shopping are close by should you need a night out or local retail therapy.

The fabulous west coast beaches are all within easy reach. Nowhere is really that far in Barbados….!

You are recommended to rent a vehicle for your stay; there are many taxis as well for those ‘nights out’, but your own transport provides flexibility. The local beverages are excellent – but designated drivers are advisable, please be careful.

Barbados is truly a very beautiful island, with lots of art, activities, night life, music, history and some of the best restaurants to be found anywhere. But what makes Barbados even more special, and the reason why so many visitors keep returning to the island year after year, is the people. Barbadians, called Bajans, are warm and friendly souls, always ready to greet you with a sincere smile. Barbadians make you feel welcome and special, in this lovely Caribbean Island you will feel it’s your home and will want to come back again and again. Barbados: A unique Caribbean paradise, surprisingly sophisticated, friendly, fun and always charming.
