Had a great time in CB. THe condo was clean, but very dated. The couch and mattress were incredibly uncomfortable. I will definitely be back to CB soon, but there are better places to stay for the price.
First off, the property management staff were really friendly and very helpful. I had an issue booking online and they were quick and responsive to correct the problem. The location is good. Its low on the mountain so the travel back and forth isn't bad, and it is right on the free bus line. The view isn't great but there is a little stream running behind the unit so the sound was nice. The unit itself was a little funky. It has all the amenities as promised but they are a little dated and the bedroom situation isn't quite what we had in mind. We thought it had multiple bedrooms but it really just has one with a second adjacent to the living area separated by a moving divider. It is a good sized unit and had wifi and tv and a table by the kitchen so we had what we needed. And the price we found was great compared to crazier CB prices for comparable units; for a few days it worked perfectly.
Great location. Condo unit was all on 1 floor which was perfect for my elderly parents. Clean and comfortable.
The Mountain View building is located a short walk (~10 min) from the ski lift. The walk is uphill, but not strenuous. There were, however, no directions in the unit or in the building telling us how to get to the lifts. You have to work that out for yourself. The shuttle bus stop is at the entrance to the parking lot. Very easy ride to the main lift area
The kitchen was adequately stocked with dishes, flatware, glasses and cookware, albeit not new.
The layout of the apartment is interesting. The second bedroom with two twin beds is divided from the main living room by a series of folding doors. The doors can be sectioned off or opened up to the living room. When the folding doors are used, access to the second bedroom is through the bathroom.
The unit is managed by a local management company with offices in the Three Seasons, a short drive up the hill. We made arrangements for a late check-in and the key was waiting for us in the lockbox at the Three Seasons as promised. The unit was very clean and well maintained. The Welcome Information Sheet in the room indicates that trash is removed and towels replaced every other day. We were there from late Wednesday night through Sunday morning. The trash was removed on Friday only. Towels were not removed, but we could not decide if new towels had been added or not. In any event, there were plenty of towels.
The one night that we ate out, we went to Django's. It is small plate restaurant where the food is extraordinary and the service is attentive. Don't be surprised if you end up ordering more food than you normally would! It is that good.
Overall, this is a very nice place to stay. I would have no hesitation staying there again.
