Beautiful 2br/ba stilt house, directly on the gulf front on sunset beach. Both bedrooms have queen size beds, and large two room loft has two additional queen size beds. Huge deck great for sunset parties. Loft can sleep extra guests. Magnificent view of the gulf of mexico framed by a tropical landscape including coconut palms, papaya trees, banana trees, giant bird of paradise, and mango tree. Sunset beach is at the south end of Treasure Island, a quiet residential area away form the hotels and traffic. A hidden paradise!
My wife and I rented this place for a week and it was perfect. It has a very large deck with direct access to the beach. The view is spectacular and the location is very convenience. It's in a quite street but near everything else. It would take less than 5 minutes for us to go to a grocery store or shops. The owners were very nice and responsive.
Love the place and would definitely book it again soon.
The property was beautifully clean and had everything we could want. Getting in was a little confusing as the entry pad was on the right and the numerical sign for the property was on the left- I wasn't sure that it was all one property- it is. The deck is amazing and we practically lived on it and access to the beach is awesome. We very much hope to come back next year - a total treasure.
We enjoyed our stay ... Loved the large deck, home & that it is beach front!! Nearby Restaurants were a plus. A local gave us a tip to eat ... at "Dockside Dave". The Grouper dinner is a must have!! John the Owner is great .... Thank you for sharing your home!! We look forward to
Our next time!! Denise & Andy
What a beautiful 7 days we had sitting on this great deck with an absolutely amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico, and the lush tropical landscape. This home is all about location, and it doesn’t get any better than this with steps off the deck onto the white sands of Sunset Beach. The deck has plenty of seating with two tables. There was a tropical storm the first few days of our vacation, August 8th thru August 15th, but we still were able to enjoy the outdoors since the deck is partially covered. The home is wrapped with floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, so the view is spectacular. This updated home was immaculate. It was well stocked with all the amenities one expects to find in a home. The kitchen cabinets and drawers contain all the dishes, pots & pans, and cooking utensils needed to cook great meals for your family. There are two queen beds in the bedrooms on the main floor, and two more in the loft. The two bathrooms on the main floor are updated and very clean. There were televisions in both the kitchen and living room although we had no interest in watching it. The internet was easily accessible and the connection was great. If you’ve never been to this area before, Treasure Island is nestled on Gulf Boulevard between St. Pete Beach, and John’s Pass with no lack of great little restaurants up and down Gulf Boulevard. Boating, parasailing, fishing, and miniature golf are all nearby. We shopped for groceries at the Publix just blocks away. There is a trolley that you can take up and down Gulf Boulevard. St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Tampa are all easy drives if you want to shop, see the museums, or spend the day at Busch Gardens. This home on Sunset Beach has it all! Thanks to the owner, John, for opening your home to us!
The week of June 18th-25th was paradise for my family and I! Right when we walked into the house and saw the amazing view from the back deck, we were speechless. We loved it! The wide open floor plan, with these two big windows showing you the beach was amazing. The 2 bedrooms and 2 rooms in the loft were perfect for my husband, our soon-to-be 1 year old, my parents, my 2 brothers and family friend. There was plenty of seating for everyone in the great room and all of our meals were eaten outside on the massive deck and under the covered awning. The large deck was fantastic and off of that was a small walkway to your own piece of Heaven! All the rooms were equipped with closets. The 2 rooms downstairs have walk-in closets and the upstairs rooms had their own closets. The kitchen, with all new appliances, was wonderful! The great room had extremly nice furnishings that were very comfortable, especially on Sunday, June 19th, when the Cleveland Cavs won the NBA Championship! We love the house and it exceeded all of our expectations; we are planning to come back next year to this spectacular location!

We were at this property from June 4th to June 9th 2016. Let me start by saying that the front of this property does not do it justice. Just get inside and walk directly to the enormous deck or just walk along the bottom to the back yard and let the view speak for itself!!!
This house has 2 bedrooms with queen beds. two separate loft areas with queen beds. Plenty of room to spread out. There were 6 of us including my parents and we all had our own space. The kitchen was immacculate and had modern appliances and all the utensils you would ever need.
We couldn't figure out how to use the induction stove and we texted John. He answered us, even though he was out of town. I felt a little silly because John had left a frequently asked questions handout in a green binder in the kitchen and it had the information on how to work the stove on it.
John, the owner was very attentive. He even sent out his daughter and her boyfriend to clear out the path to the beach that had overgrown a little even though the gardener was coming in a couple of days.
Our children, 19 and 21 year olds, said they wanted to return next year. They have never mentioned this before about a vacation destination. ( and we've been to Punta Cana and Puerto Rico)
In all, this is a great place for family and it could easily accommodate all age levels. It is a traditional stilt house so, stairs are a must.
I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.
