This lovely home features 5 bedrooms (1 queen bedroom, 2 full bedroom and 2 bedrooms with twin beds), 3 bathrooms, This home will accommodate up to 10 people comfortably. 3 tvs, dvd player and a large screened pool area.
Westridge is a community that is located along Highway 27 between US 192 and the I-4 Interstate. Both highways are an easy 5-10 minute drive. Disney’s main gates are approximately a 15 minute drive, and Orlando International Airport is approximately 30 minutes away (depending on traffic). The Westridge community offers a wonderful mix of full-time residents and short-term rental homes. The homes are on relatively large lots in a landscape of gently rolling hills. This community offers free use of its cabana, community pool and floodlit tennis courts available to residents and guests. If you are a golf enthusiast, you may choose to play a round next door at Highlands Reserve, or even try Champions Gate Complex which is just minutes away, as are numerous other courses.
This home was disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the home appeared run down. The ceilings were in need of repair, linoleum in the kitchen and bathrooms was incredibly dirty and moldy, the carpet was old and dirty, furnishings were old, and some appliances were broken.
Asside from being run down, there was a roach problem. The first day we came back to the rental there was a roach in the entryway and dining area near kitchen. We called the property manager and they were quick to respond but, I was completely disgusted. Every morning I woke up to bugs near the kitchen counter. Overall disgusted and disappointed. This was a lower cost home rental and now I know why. We won't make this mistake again. You get what you pay for! Rent at your own risk.
The only positive was dealing with IPG. Very professional and service oriented. If I were them, I wouldn't associate with this rental as it gives them a poor image.
We stayed here for 4 nights. This house is located in a great area and was a short drive to Disney for us. This house is showing it's wear and tear though and really needs an update.
The kitchen floor has been cut and pasted in pieces where the vinyl had gone bad. The ceilings had to be leaking at one point because there's major damage showing on them but it looks like it was fixed but just poorly repaired. The glass sliding door to the pool had been broken and instead of replacing the cracked glass they covered it with tape. The bathrooms had the same type of cut and paste style of major floor damage where parts had been replaced here and there. The furniture is well worn and damaged and there was very limited kitchen stuff available. It was frustrating as the pictures don't show anything like the current state this property is in. I get it's a rental but spend some more money and do the updates and then you'd be able to command more which I'd probably pay in the future.
The house was clean though, I saw no evidence of them not cleaning between tenants and the fridge was spotless as well. They are doing a good job with cleaning now just update this house and it would be a five star property for me.
This house was the perfect size for our family and we especially enjoyed the pool. Ali and her husband were very accomodating with fresh towels and heating up the pool for all of the kids to enjoy. We will definitely book again!!
