Located on Lake Nokomis Breezy Bay Cabin is a place you don't want to miss.
Open from May thru October, unfortunately we are closed November thru April. Breezy Bay cabin has 2 bedrooms with 1 full bath. Sleeping arrangements are bedroom 1 queen size bed, bedroom 2 full size bed, twin bunk bed and twin trundle, along with a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Fully remodeled, the cabin is equipped with AC, television, DVD player, radio, all cooking utensils, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, charcoal grill. All bed linens are included (but bring your own towels). Your stay includes your own 32’ dock, a 12' row boat, Use the shared sandy beach and swimming raft (just a short swim from the dock).
You will enjoy spectacular sun sets over the lake, and a wide variety of wild life (including loons, ducks, eagles, deer and more), with a great view of the lake from your cozy living room or the private deck. Relax at night around a cozy fire in your privet fire pit (sorry wood is not included). Your children will enjoy the playground (with swings, slid, and basket ball hoop).
Enjoy fishing (walleye, perch, blue gill, crappie, bass, muskie) are among the large variety of fish present in the lake. Lake Nokomis is part of the Rice reservoir with more than 2400 acres and nearly 34 miles of shore line.
You may enjoy jet skiing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, waterskiing, or boating on the lake or other parts of the reservoir. Walking, biking can be enjoyed on the nearby Bearskin Trail. If shopping is your thing, Tomahawk has some nice shops or maybe take a short road trip (you are only 23 miles from Minocqua or Rhinelander).
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance and accessible by water. Also everybody's favorite is the Windmill ice cream shop (also with water access) you can take the paddle boat for ice cream and burn off the calories on your way back to the cabin. Now that's a win-win situation.
We had a wonderful time. The cabin is clean, well stocked and absolutely beautiful. The view is breathtaking. Watched bald eagles in flight and a loon fish. The most relaxing vacation I have had by far. Did not really find the good fishing spots but better luck next time. Would love to rent from them again. Well worth the money!
Our stay was wonderful, except for the weather. The cabin was clean and comfortable, the fire pit was perfect on the chilly nights, and it was close to several larger cities if you want a day trip. We will definitely be staying again, hopefully sooner than later!
Stay was great because everything in cabin worked an furniture was comfortable, we had plenty of cooking pans a clean stove an oven, lots of hotwater. Cabin furnished to meet all our needs and verý lovely, we have already reserved the cabin for next year. Sandy an Dick
We made a last minute booking and the owner was prompt in responding and accommodating. The cabin was clean and the view was amazing.
Was absolutely perfect for us! Cabin was beautiful, close to everything and extremely clean and we'll maintained! We highly suggest you give it a try...... Great fishing too:)
This property is well maintained, clean and comfortable. It was impeccably decorated in a fishing motif and the property was lakeside (Lake Nakomis).
The attention to detail was impressive and certainly gave the impression that the users comfort was a priority.
The price was fair for the quality of the cottage. We are planning on returning and perhaps will make it an annual stay.
