About the town home:

This 120 square meter, 2-level London vacation rental townhouse is located on a quaint street secure residential neighbourhood. A private mews house is a wonderful experience. Originally, when houses were built along the streets of London, the mews lanes behind the great houses were lined with lovely cottages for horses and carriages. The Beatles made enjoying life in a private London mews house very fashionable, a lifestyle that remains popular to this day.

This is a lovely home over two levels (ground floor and 1st floor) can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. On the first floor one will find the large lounge and dining area complete with a sofa and armchair, flat screen television with cable, decorative fireplace and a dining table for 6. Situated off the living area, the fully-equipped kitchen features a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, teakettle and more. Full sets of cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots and pans and other utensils. There is a clothes washing and drying machine so you can pack lightly and save room in your luggage for some special London souvenirs. An iron and board are also provided for your convenience.

On the ground floor you will find the 3 separate bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed while the other 2 bedrooms contain double beds. All bedding, sheets and pillows are provided and you will find the bed neatly made on arrival. There is one full bathroom with a combination bathtub/shower, a sink and a toilet. The second bathroom has a stand-up shower and sink. Complementary toilet rolls, shampoos, shower gels and hand soap will be provided to start off your stay. Luxurious bath towels are provided for 6 people as well.

From the ground floor, you can also access the private outdoor patio were you can enjoy an afternoon cup of tea. The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning but we will be happy to provide you with fans for your stay should warm temperatures be in the London weather forecast.

A member of our Welcoming Team will meet you upon arrival, give you the keys and entry codes, a tour of the apartment and its appliances, help you to connect to the Wi-Fi and more. You’ll find a personal guidebook in the flat with suggestions on where to eat and shop in London.

This London mews vacation rental is situated in the heart of the city, close to all of the main attractions. It is the ideal location for those looking to explore London by foot or Tube. The house embodies typical British architecture and is surrounded by many famous landmarks and London points of interest. The Knightsbridge neighbourhood, home to the world-famous Harrods department store, is a shopper’s paradise with its chic designer boutiques.

Hyde Park is easily accessible by foot and provides endless opportunities for walking, jogging or running in London. Location is unbeatable

Excellent place, location and management company. Definitely will come back. Already promoting to friends and family at home. The location is unbeatable, the prices very fair considering the neighborhood. Apartment is spacious for six people. Stefan was friendly and professional, a very nice young man. He gave us two sets of keys so our group could go their separate ways during the day. Also had some very good restaurant recommendations.

A disgrace

I booked a four-night stay at this Brompton Place mews house from 4-8 April.

As you can see the house looks lovely from the photos and there are lots of very positive reviews, so I felt OK about paying in full upfront. What a mistake. We were in the house for no more than 20 minutes before deciding to leave. It was disgusting: there was rubbish piled up outside the front door, damp patches on the floor and ceilings, paint peeling off the walls, the toilet seat was broken, the TV didn't work, the bedroom furniture was falling apart, the cooker was covered in dust and grime and the windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for months. They said they had no alternative apartments to offer us so we were forced to go somewhere else. Despite two emails and numerous telephone messages the owner, someone purportedly called Paul, has not had the courtesy to reply - not even to apologise. Homeaway have been sympathetic but have basically said there's nothing they can do other than relay my complaint to the owner. I feel totally ripped off. Before I left I took photos of all the things I described and will happily share them.

We have hosted hundreds of guests in the flat since we started managing it and have always received very positive feedback. Your recent feedback has proven to be very constructive. The flat has been repainted and refurbished since your departure. We are sorry that the apartment did not meet your expectations on arrival and that we were not given the opportunity to address these issues on your first day to a ensure a more comfortable stay for your group. Unfortunately we could not do much about the rubbish out front on the day of your arrival as it was rubbish collection day in the neighborhood and like all of our neighbors, we were required to place the rubbish outside for pickup. We would be grateful if you would give us a second chance.

Hard to beat location!

Really great rental experience with Paul and his team. All email communication was flawless, and his assistant on-site was very charming and helpful. The flat is spacious for 6 people, with three big bedrooms. It is clean, nicely maintained and has all the basic amenities you could think of. The location is hard to beat, a few minutes to Hyde Park with Harrods and Harvey Nichols just up the road, and tons of wonderful restaurants and shops nearby. I'd highly recommended this place to anyone wishing to experience a luxurious side of London in a safe neighborhood.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great time in this London townhouse. It's in a wonderful, chic neighborhood of London and Harrods is really close if you want to go shopping, or even just browse to escape the cold outside. Good layout with the bedrooms downstairs and the living and kitchen area upstairs so you can have privacy when you want and gather all together as well. It is clean and has been well maintained by the management company. We did not experience any issues but Stefan made himself readily available should we have needed it. It is on a tiny side street off a main busy road (where you'll find access to the Tube station) and so it is nice and quiet. We felt very safe here and taken care of.

This townhouse was in a great location - easy access to the London Underground and less than a two minute walk to Harrods. We appreciate that Paul helped us out at the last minute when our original accommodations had to cancel prior to my arrival. The townhouse was clean and as described - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the lower level and kitchen/living area upstairs. Very safe neighborhood. We are more than happy to recommend this place.

Excellent Location for London Living

The flat was in a great location. Extremely easy access to the KnightsbridgeTube and less than 2 five minute walk to Harrods. We spent tons of time in this amazing store, dreaming of expensive bags and shoes and trying food from all the great stands. The flat was clean and as described with no surprises. The kitchen is small but adequate for a short stay and we were able to cook there a few different times, as well as prepare our morning coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. The neighbhourhood is busy (Harrods draws a huge crowd) but very safe and pleasantly quiet at night.
