This 3 bedroom 2 bath condo located on beautiful Gorgona Beach is part of Playa Serena Resort gated beachfront community. This beautiful condo isn't a short drive to the beach or a short walk to the beach, this condi is ON the beach.

From the balcony of this 19th floor home you have a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean and a spectacular mountain view as well. Condo is new w/ all appliances, a/c, WiFi, pool, equipped exercise room, etc. We can accommodate up to 6 people.

COME ENJOY PANAMA!!! BUT BE WARNED, YOU MAY NEVER WANT TO LEAVE!!!

Coronado is just 3 km away with Hospital, Catholic Church, Synagogue, Banks and 2-24-hour Super Markets with Pharmacies. Nearby you can travel to El Valle mountain village with: Thermal Springs, Treetop aerial ride, peaceful mountain forest trails and Handicrafts and Farmers markets. You can drive or take tours of the Panama Canal, or visit nearby towns and enjoy natural tropical settings, Rain forests, Ecotourism.

Additional details: Fully equipped condo: All bedding, towels, wash cloths and kitchen towels are provided. The condo is fully equipped with all kitchen appliances, dishes, silverware and knives, table-wear, comfortable furniture, beds and patio table and chairs. We have a porta-crib for those people who have a baby with them.

We have stayed at some rentals that just were not what they advertised. You will have my email address (and there is very good high speed internet at the condo) and my cell phone number in the US. You can email or call me if you have any problems.

There is a $75 final cleaning fee due to the manager when checking in. Other than the cleaning fee we don't have any 'hidden' costs, i.e., taxes, management fees, linen service, etc. If there is a final cleaning/management fee, this will be stated up-front in the rental agreement.

We really love it in Panama and we really love Playa Serena and the beach and surrounding area and we're sure that you will love it also.

We really enjoy the stay, Mr. Tom the guideline you wrote was very helpful and made the reservation easy to optain. The location is breathtaking, the beach as he described it “Serene” I definitively would come back and refer it to all my friends.

Refreshing

Great location right on the beach. I enjoyed everything about the place except for the fact that the entire building was without gas the entire time I was there. There was some sort of inspection that was going on and it wasn’t completed when I was there. This meant I had no hot water and no stove. I usually cook on my trips so I ended up having to eat out exclusively. Other than that, I enjoyed the condo a lot.

Overall very nice but unexpected view

Overall a very nice and clean unit! Excellent detailed and rapid communication from and with the owner. 8 pages of notes and tips about the unit and surrounding area! The owners go above and beyond in providing items such as towels, kitchen utensils, soap, etc. even including a cell phone! When the Wi-Fi password didn’t work we sent an email to the owner who responded within minutes and fixed the issue (minor password typo)… the fast communication made this a non-event. Great location for exploring the area. We didn’t use the pool or common area, although they both looked very nice. Very nice walk on the beach. Take care as the black sand gets very hot in the sun! The was a no gas due to a required safety inspection, so no hot water, no stove/oven, and no dryer. The owners were notified a couple weeks prior to our visit and they called to inform us. We used the provided gas grill to cook. It might have been nice to receive a bit of a discount or partial refund but the situation was out of their control. 1 small power outage for about 15 min… this is expected in Panama and was not an issue. An unexpected item was the view from the balcony and master bedroom. The adjacent building is located very close to the unit and directly between it and the beach, blocking about 80% of the view. I wish this was included in the owners description or that there were better pictures showing the adjacent building in the posting.

Perfect beach location

19th floor condo, can hear the waves loud and clear. Property is kept immaculate with friendly onsite staff. Owner of property is very hands on if a problem arises

We (Karen and Tom) are from Syracuse, NY. Karen is a nurse-practitioner and real estate investor and Tom is a portrait photographer (retired) and a real estate investor. We traveled to, fell in love with and bought a 2nd home in Panama. We just love the area here and the people are wonderful.

Why they chose this property

Cleaning and Green Policies: First some words about our cleaning policy. During this time of COVID being absolutly certain that this home is completely disinfected and cleaned is our first priority. The management company oversees the cleaning people and inspections are done each and every time a guest leaves to be absolutely sure that the next guest coming in will have living spaces that are totally clean and disinfected. Regarding our green policies, we use LED lighting throughout the home. Even the TVs have been upgraded to the newer LED TVs. All appliances and A/C units have inverters to assure the best use of electric and gas consumption. Wherever possible window tinting is used to keep out the heat and keep in the A/C when in use. Our eyes are always on doing everything we can to conserve and keep a clean environmentally friendly home for our guests.

We decided that we wanted to own a condo in a beautiful location someplace in the world that was on the ocean, warm year round, with fewer problems, i.e. hurricanes, where the people are friendly and just someplace that we would enjoy going to each time we traveled there. We found out about Playa Serena Resort before they had even begun construction on the project. So we traveled to Panama to see the location, talk to the developers and see a lot of Panama to be sure we'd like to invest and live there. Well we did it right. We enjoy Panama and the Gorgona/Coronado beach areas even more than we at first thought we would. In fact we now have decided to make Panama more of a permanent home in the near future.

What makes this property unique

FREE phone calls. There is a phone in the living room with an extention in the master bedroom. You can make and receive phone calls FREE from the USA and Canada. You will also have the use of a Panama cell phone for local calls.

We are located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Panama. Recently we talked to a Panamanian on the beach who had just bought at Playa Serena and he said, 'this is the first 'beautiful' beach you come to from Panama City. In the morning we run barefoot on the beach next to the ocean for around 3+ miles and then go for a swim in the ocean (or the pool). It really gives us a great start to the day. We enjoy relaxing on the beach or near the beautifully landscaped pool area.

We're a very short distance from some great restaurants, some of which are even walking distance away. It's fun showing people around the area when they come with us for a visit, taking them to places like The Panama Canal or El Valle for shopping and lunch. Maybe drive to Albrook Mall or into Panama City for shopping. We have some friends that can arrange a fishing trip, complete with boat, bait and tackle if that interests you. Recently we have just added free phone service between the US and Canada.
