This lovely Barbados vacation rental is part of an intimate development of 10 exceptional villas set amongst two acres of lush, tropically landscaped gardens and includes a gorgeous and very large free form communal swimming pool. Located in the heart of the Platinum West Coast only a few moments from the secluded, white sandy beaches of Gibbs, Claridges 6 is one of the West Coast’s most exclusive, boutique residential resorts.

The location of Claridges 6 is unbeatable. It is almost directly across the road from Gibbs beach in Barbados which is without a doubt one of the best on the island of Barbados if not throughout the Caribbean. Gibbs Beach is a picture perfect stretch of crescent shaped white sand with crystal clear turquoise waters. It is also connected with the lovely Mullins Beach which is also really beautiful and slightly busier. Here you will find the famous Mullins Beach Bar which is the perfect location to enjoy a traditional sundown rum punch or a lovely lunch.

Claridges 6 offers the perfect combination of modern living with classic coral stone elegance and a hint of Balinese architectural influence. The finishes include beautiful cedar, mahogany, marble, granite and travertine, each complementing the other, coming together to produce a natural, stylish and classically contemporary living space.

No.6 Claridges is the epitome of contemporary living in the tropics. This 2 storey, 3 bedroom townhouse boasts vibrant, customized decor. The main entrance opens on to the open plan living/dining room with kitchen leading directly out to the covered terrace fitted with a comfortable day bed. From the covered terrace guests can soak up the sun with personal sun loungers and umbrellas, enjoy al fresco dining and even relax in the 6ft. Swedish hot tub. This area is completely enclosed by tropical gardens allowing for privacy.

All the en-suite bedrooms are pool facing with King or twin sized beds, walk through closets and a private terrace. One bedroom is located on the ground whilst the first floor has the further 2 bedrooms. The Master bedroom is equipped with a TV. Additionally the first floor has a multi functional den with a desk and flat screen television; ideal place for work, lounging or accommodating an additional guest. A Sofa bed can be provided.

No. 6 Claridges is equipped with Apple TV, Sonos and of course wireless wifi connection throughout the property.

This residential resort community features a large swimming pool with three waterfalls, gazebo and beach area where residents can soak up the brilliant year-round sunshine in a tranquil and peaceful location.

STAFF: Claridges no 6 comes with your own Housekeeper 5 days per week between the hours of 9am and 5pm. There is also a property manager who regularly visits to ensure our guest comforts.

GREAT LOCATION AND GREAT VALUE

We have just returned from a 2 week vacation in Barbados. We stayed one week in Claridges and one week in a villa on the Beach. We couldn't believe how luxurious Claridges was for the price. It was extremely spacious and literally across just the road from Gibbs beach which we think is the best in Barbados. We also spent quite a bit of time around the stunning communal pool which we had virtually to ourselves for the entire time. Several days we walked to Mullins Beach Bar for lunch and sunset cocktails. We loved it. We would highly recommend this villa.

Claridges 6 is located 3 minutes walk from the wonderful calm waters of Gibbs Beach on the West Coast of Barbados. Gibbs Beach is a lovely sandy beach and is decorated with lush greenery and tropical flora. The beach is great for safe swimming and also here you can enjoy much water sporting activities such as water skiing, banana boat rides and parasailing. Hobie cat sailing boats can also be rented.

The location is ideal as you are equidistance from both Holetown and Speighstown. A mere 5 minutes away is the historic little town of Speightstown – with the most delightful and casual restaurants tempting visitors with their authentic Caribbean cuisine and sea vistas. Don’t forget to check out the Gallery of Caribbean Art and Arlington House - a 'must see' interactive museum with audio-visual features of 'Old Barbados'.

Holetown in Barbados offers a wonderful array of delicious restaurants and bakeries as well as being the top place for shopping in Barbados. The Chattel Village is an extremely popular shopping village, which is located on the west coast side in Holetown and has a colourful collection of wonderful shops from gifts to gourmet and clothes. All the shops lie along streets dotted with wonderfully vivid flowers and tropical shrubs that will certainly put you in a vibrant mood. The new Lime Grove Shopping centre on the other hand offers many chic and designer shops as well as a great selection of trendy restaurants and bars.

Barbados is a stunning tropical island that is characterised by its incredible white sandy beaches, calm turquoise sea, English colonial history, festive street life, exquisite restaurants, and some of the best luxury vacation rentals in the Caribbean. The island is predominantly flat, with a few gently rolling hills to the north. The west coast is lined with fine white sand and natural coral reefs and along the east coast there’s a lively surf as the sea pounds the rocky shoreline. Paynes Bay Beach

Over the years, Barbados has become synonymous with glamour and sophistication especially the West Coast where you will find a wonderful selection of 5 star hotels and some of the most beautiful private vacation rental villas in the world. The West Coast of Barbados is also famed for its many amazing restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to authentic Caribbean dishes.

For those looking for a livelier vacation, the South Coast around St Lawrence Gap is the place to go. Here the nightlife sizzles with the sounds of calypso, jazz and reggae. There is also an excellent and varied selection of restaurants to choose from.

As well as being popular with sun-worshippers, Barbados attracts snorkelers, surfers, scuba-divers, and fishermen. Barbados is also a wonderful vacation destination for the keen golfer with several championship courses designed by Tom Fazio and Robert Trent Jones. Most of our vacation rental villas are conveniently close to the the sea and many other recreational facilities

There are many wonderful areas for shopping. Bridgetown is definitely worth a visit and for those seeking designer shopping the brand new Lime grove Shopping Centre in Holetown offers a great selection of designer shops at duty free prices. The chattel shops in Holetown are also worth a mention for those looking for unique pieces.

If you would like to have a change of scenery from the beach, the Andromeda Botanic Gardens, near to Bath Sheba are wonderful to visit. You will also be able to gain an understanding of the complex history of Barbados by visiting some of the most impressive colonial plantation houses, such as St Nicholas Abbey. Then there is the stunning East side of the Island where the Caribbean sea meets the Atlantic Ocean with stunning and continuous swells making it the perfect place to try some surfing.

From the West Coast, south and East Coast, Barbados has a huge amount to offer added to greatly by the wonderful Bajan people who are full of charm and also always warm and friendly.
