This large WWII era two-bedroom + loft unit is located in Arlington, Virginia, next to Shirlington Village.

This apartment is fully furnished and all utilities, high speed internet, and premium satellite television are included in the rental amount. The kitchen is newly renovated with hardwood cabinets, new appliances, and granite countertops. The updated bathroom features a heated tile floor and a bathtub. The balcony off of the dining room adds additional space for entertaining.

As there were three of us, Andre was more than open to refurnishing the loft into a practical third bedroom. And it worked out perfectly! Although the apartment may look like it has just two bedrooms, it can accommodate three people just fine! "I have used temporary housing all over the world, but Shirlington Stay has been my best experience, to date. I needed to find housing quickly and Andre, the property manager, bent over backwards to accommodate my every need. The property was spacious, immaculately clean and state-of-the-art (while still maintaining its WWII Era charm) comfortable! The location was perfect, as I needed quick and easy access to northern Virginia, downtown DC and southern Maryland. I didn’t need to use the trains or buses, but knew that if I did, they were all within walking distance...a conveniently centralized place to stay! Additionally, the neighborhood was beautifully lined with trees, kept clean and felt extremely safe. I would feel perfectly secure having my mother stay there by herself. One is that they were upfront with the terms and cost (Oakwood was not and could not give a good outline of the application process or guarantee a specific apartment); the location appealed to me; the price was great for temporary housing and the appeal of working with a smaller local business were all draws for me. The experience has been wonderful. Responsive management that fixed items from previous tenants right away, clean/stylish place with full amenities, and an easy check in/check out process. Shirlington is a fantastic location! The community has six outdoor pools, tennis courts, and a tot playground all within a block.

When you're near Shirlington Village you'll find several shops, restaurants, movie theaters, library, and a great supermarket.

The entire area is very kid and dog friendly. During most of the year (when outdoor seating is open) you'll find dogs tethered to their owner's table while enjoying a meal.

What makes this condo unique

This unit is right next to the incoming and outgoing shuttle stop to the Pentagon Metro. You can be in the metro station within 12 mints of boarding, and the shuttle runs less than 10 minutes during mornings and evenings.

The unit is very close to the Foreign Language Institute, the Pentagon, Pentagon City, and Washington, DC.
