Great property, well managed.

Located in the NOLA business district, it's convenient to restaurants and, for us, a nice walk to the French Quarter. Jazz Pass, for bus and trolley, makes the city easy to navigate. The apt is as represented in the pics. We were on the 9th floor. Nice, spacious, modern, one bedroom. Really enjoyed it. Bed was quite comfortable. Everything was waiting when we arrived... even down to a nice handwritten note from Tiffany and a bottle of champagne celebrating our 39th anniversary. The walls are evidently quite soundproof. As we passed our neighbors door, we heard loud music, but in our apt... nothing. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks, StayAlfred.

Great location!

  • 4 of 5

Great location. Spacious one bedroom. Only thing to be aware of is that you are in the heart of downtown and there is street noise (streetcar specifically) so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper!

Overall, it was a great stay, with some comments for improvement

  • 4 of 5

Overall, this is a positive review.

The condo was very spacious. The kitchen had just about everything we needed, a coffee maker, a large refrigerator and a microwave. You get your money's worth compared to any hotel room.

There's a mart right across the street where you can conveniently get things you may need to add like milk and sugar for your morning coffee. We were only blocks from the French Quarter so I could walk to my conference hotel.

The bathroom was nice, and I noticed that both the toilet and the shower had handicap rails for those who might need them. There was plenty of space in the bedroom, the bathroom, and the closet.

There was also a combo washer dryer with Tide pods that was convenient, and televisions in both the main living room area and the bedroom that both had screens of good size.

To improve, it would have been really nice if they supplied a roll of paper towels. I had to clean up one small spill with toilet paper. The bathroom water temperature sometimes fluctuated, and there was no bar for the towels in the bathroom. It once was there, and the marks on the wall were quite noticeable.

The bed was quite large, but a new mattress was really required. You could see the bow in the mattress from the other side of the condo, but in fairness, it did not interfere with my sleep.

The security staff was pleasant and engaging. Especially since the city was still in full recovery mode from Mardi Gras. It's clear that they were exhausted, but that didn't diminish their professionalism.

All things considered, I'd come back.
