Just 5 minutes from all of Dubrovnik's most popular attractions and best beaches, this 4-level townhouse in a quiet neighborhood is a meticulously-designed paradox: spacious but cozy; rustic but elegant; modern but traditional. This house dates back to the 14th century, while recent renovations provide modern convenience. Exposed stone walls and handmade wooden furniture with a distressed finish blend nicely with Italian marble and modern fixtures found in the kitchen and bathrooms.
Guests enter the house on the ground floor where they will find a full kitchen with dining area and laundry facilities. The first and second floors each have a double bedroom with private ensuite bathroom, while the third floor boasts a spacious living room with satellite TV, and two sofabeds.
Amenities include free parking available on request (must be reserved in advance), air conditioning (in both bedrooms and living room), satellite tv, wireless internet, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, washing machine, clothes dryer, baby cot on request, and heated floors on the ground floor.
We would absolutely stay here again. The pictures are exactly like the apartment. It was perfect for two couples. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. They met up with us had a parking spot for our car and helped us to the apartment. We loved the location right in the middle of the old city. There are a lot of stairs to climb up to the apartment, but we just joked that we got our workout every day. It was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a short or long stay. We would highly reccomend it.
We would definitely stay here again and again. Our transfer from the airport was organised. We were met when we arrived and our beautiful hosts helped with our luggage. The apartment is fully equiped so you can just holiday without having to find laundrettes or dry cleaners. We were very very impressed. You do have to be mobile otherwise the steps would be a problem. Neighbours were quiet and everyone we met were so lovely and very helpful. Very happy guests. Deb and Rick, Marg and Micheal 😊
Four of us - two couples - stayed at the property for two nights. The owners were very helpful in arranging a place for us to leave our car and also helped with the luggage both arriving and departing. As it has a complete kitchen and there is a market within 10 minutes walk, you can save quite a bit on meals. The apartment is within 5 minutes of the Stradun, the Main Street, where you will find souvenir shops galore, lots of restaurants as well as the main entrance to the walls. As others have said, there a LOT of stairs but they come with the territory. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.
Lots of steps but your location to old town makes it worth it. It can get warm in kitchen area but ac on other floors was great
We had a great stay in this home in the heart of the old town! Yes, it is a lot of stairs but we knew that going in and knew we wanted to be in this location. We were able to walk to everywhere and our hosts were great to work with. They arranged transportation for us and met us at home and were very helpful with our stay. Only issue we had was the shower needs some sort of shelf as there was no where to rest soap, shampoo etc. Also, maybe a mattress pad on the beds as they were a bit uncomfortable...just a suggestion- other than that a perfect stay!
We loved the location of this apartment--great restaurants and sites in every direction. Of course there are a ton of stairs in old town and while having four floors in the apartment made it nice to spread out, there were a couple evenings when having so many stairs in the apartment were a bit of a challenge! However, the apartment was a great mix of old world style and modern convenience. We especially loved the top floor sitting room for relaxing in the evening with the windows open. The only problem with the apartment for us was that it felt like it had been set up as a rental and was missing some nice touches that would give it an easy 5 star rating. For example, the mattresses were thin and hard, by far the worst we found in our time in Croatia and Slovenia. No soap dish/shelf in the showers (nowhere to set shampoo/razor), which would normally not be a problem but is tough in a tiny shower stall. There was pump soap at the sink but no bar soap for the shower so we ended up trying to balance the bottle on the faucets in the shower. Really, just an inconvenience, but it took away from the experience and could be so easily rectified. On the pro side, being able to do laundry in the apartment was a huge bonus and Rebecca was great and spent time with us to make sure we knew how to work it properly. She also arranged transportation for us which was fantastic. All in all, we loved this place and our time in Dubrovnik. We would absolutely choose it again.
