About Aurelien Vigano

Welcome to Paris, where we live with our four sons.

We love the heart of Paris, where we have lived for 18 years. And during your stay you may well bump into us at the bakery or by the playground in front of Notre-Dame.

Aurelien Vigano purchased this apartment in 2000

Why Aurelien Vigano chose 5th Quartier Latin

We came to Paris as students 18 years ago, and never left the Latin Quarter since.

We have lived in this apartment for 13 years, we built a family here.

When our twins are born three years ago we had to move. But we would not leave the area, and our home is 5' away.

That also means we will (almost) always be here if you need some help, or tips.

What makes this apartment unique

We love this place, we entirely renovated it over the years, made it extremely functional, while keeping its charm.

And we fully refurbished it this year, for you.

Beautiful apartment in Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary trip to Paris. The owner was great at communication and had absolutely everything we needed at our fingertips. The apartment was very clean, neat and all appliances were in perfect condition. We enjoyed the fireplace every night and the gorgeous terrace every morning. The bath tub was large and comfortable. So was the bed. My husband is 6'1" and he slept well. The location was within walking distance to all things Notre Dame and Pont Neuf. The internet connection and tv was all good. Hubby is larger so the toilet area was a little small for him but the shower and bathroom area were nice and roomy. One downside was construction going on in a nearby apartment but they kept decent hours and it didn't bother us. Also, when I was sleeping in the bedroom I was woken up a couple times by what I believe was the elevator. But I'm a light sleeper. Overall, we were thrilled with this apartment and we would definitely stay there again, and recommend it to our friends.

Excellent Latin Quarter hideaway

  • 5 of 5

This is a great apartment in a perfect location in the 5th arondisment. Just steps away from the Seine and Notre Dame, and 3 blocks from Place Maubert. Easy access to Metro, buses and RER trains for direct access to Versailles, CDG and Orly airports. The owners have prepared a detailed instruction manual that covers everything about the apartment, the appliances, and the neighborhood. The apartment is roomy, quiet and comfortable, and the terrace can't be beat. We have stayed in this area numerous times, and this is our favorite apartment.

Excellent Stay

This apartment was in a perfect location. Easy to walk to major sites or hop the subway from the St. Michel station (3-5 minute walk). Close to all the shops and grocery stores. We would stay here again.

Magnifique appartement - situation idéale

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed 4 magnificent days in Paris - and this magnificent apartment made our visit memorable. We've been fortunate enough to have visited the City of Lights several times in the past, and frequently rent apartments instead of hotel rooms. And while we've never been disappointed in the apartments that we've rented - none compares to this beautiful space. The apartment was impeccably clean, the owner was exceptionally prompt and friendly - and the location was ideal. The kitchen is wonderful with high end appliances and a full set of lovely (color coordinated) plates and glasses. The Owner has thought of every convenience - including clean bathrobes for the guests! And the internet worked perfectly!! The weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy the beautiful private patio one afternoon as we sipped fantastic wine, bread and of course cheese - all purchased from great shops close to the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris - it's a true gem !

Situation idéale!

  • 5 of 5

Our week long stay at this lovely apartment around the corner from Notre Dame will always be in our memories. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped with modern appliances with an efficient kitchen including induction range and oven, a dishwasher and all the important things for meal preparation. We prepared a few delicious meals with produce and fish from the Place Maubert market. There are many restaurants, cafes, markets, wine stores, bars nearby. The Paris Metro subway is very close by and is is easy to navigate. We used taxis, Uber, the Metro and our feet to explore Paris, including museums, galleries, the Eiffel Tower, markets and churches. A stroll along the Seine gave pure joy.

The blazing internet provides easy research opportunities.

Thank you to Aurelien and his family for this jewel in Paris. I plan to return.

Amazing Location and Flat!

  • 5 of 5

Lets think about what matters on vacation: location, ease of use, access to sights etc. This place exceeds them all. First, the location is PERFECT! extremely integrated in to the edge of the Latin Quarter--near markets for in house snacking and meals, across the street from Notre Dame and the train from the Airport. So easy after a long flight and long days exploring Paris.

Second, the flat itself is wonderful. Very clean, well equipped, and modern. It also has a wonderful terrace--no other homes in the area have this. The electric fireplace heats the entire home well.

Last, working with Aurelien was simple and easy--and he was there to answer any questions we had. We are planning a trip back and staying here. This is the best place in Paris to stay. Hands Down.
