About James Polich
Jim and Michele Polich are experienced RV'ers and have enjoyed camping since 1999. They recently purchased Post Oak RV Park and Cabins and hope to make it a family adventure, along with their 7 children.
James Polich purchased this Cabin in 2012
Why James Polich chose Waco
Quietness. There's not much commotion at Post Oak RV Park and Cabins. You can be sure to get the rest you need. The occasional vehicle traffic is the only noise around. We are looking forward to adding improvements in the near future. We would like to add a BBQ area for all guests to use, a dog walking trail and kennels for the cabins for guests with dogs. A reminder that we are a smoke free property. There is no smoking allowed on any of the premises. Any evidence of smoke in the cabins or RV’s will result in automatic extra cleaning fees, as stated in the house manual.
What makes this Cabin unique
Unplug from it all! We are not off grid, but if unplugging from technology is on your to do list, then you found the right place. Very close to Homestead Heritage and The Ploughshare Institute for Sustainability. Shopping, fine crafts, dinning and classes offered for people interested in homesteading.

This place was perfect for my wife and I! Waco is a great town to visit. There are plenty of things to do but staying outside of town in a quiet place made the trip perfect!
Very quaint and clean. Unit has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
We are only 1.5 mi from Homestead Heritage Village and the Ploughshare campus where you can get some great food and tour the working craft shops that include a Woodworking Shop, Pottery Shop, Blacksmith Shop, Fibercraft Weaving Shop and a working Gristmill. Great place to go for all ages. We are also only a 15 min drive from Baylor University, Cameron Park Zoo, and some museums. If you like fishing or boating, It is only about a 25-35 min drive to Lake Waco and about a 40-45 min drive to Lake Whitney. You can also go horseback riding at the Brazos Bluffs Ranch, (reservations required) which is only 2 mi away. Or if you are a hiker or mountain biker Cameron Park is well known for its trails and is 8 miles south of us
