|Minimum Stay||4 nights|
Beautiful Spanish style house, very large open spaces, lots of windows and balconies that let you admire the amazing view, 2 master bedrooms, both attached to a spacious bathroom. the large kitchen is well stock with all your needs, dinning table and living spaces. It comes with complementary housekeeping monday to saturday , it has a private pool and beach where you can enjoy your best vacation ever.
Walking distance from Manati cenote.
Minutes from the ruins and from Tulum Beach.
The house, pool, property, beach are all amazing and just as pictured and described with one exception: As others have mentioned, there is a very large (orange!) house next door not shown in any of the pictures. No one was staying there during our visit, but had there been I fear it would have really changed the nature of our stay. There was construction and lots of activity while we were there, which was bad enough, but at least it stopped in the evenings. The house next door is quite large, so I can imagine very large groups being there and it could feel tremendously intrusive. Even without people staying there, the house sort of looms over the property in a way that should be shown in at least one picture to give a more accurate sense of this otherwise picture-perfect spot.
The living space is perhaps a bit awkwardly configured and in need of some fresh upholstery, but we didn't use it anyway as there was so much amazing and beautiful outdoor space to enjoy throughout the day (from the balcony upstairs to poolside options to the beach palapa). As other reviewers have mentioned, the spiral staircase is very steep—not a problem, but something to know for some people.
The beach is lovely. Rocky and fairly shallow, but there are sandy entry spots, tide pools to explore, and the kayaks are great for getting out on the water. The reef further out means the beach is largely protected from big waves.
Bedrooms are wonderfully spacious and comfortable. Daily housekeeping included groundskeeping, so the pool, beach, and lawn were always in perfect shape.
We loved the three (3!) different outdoor showers (beachside, poolside, back of the house).
If you stay, be sure to check out the cenote just down the road!
Beautiful, well maintained casita with pool and private section of beach. Convenient location to Tulum, especially if you rent car. Taxis are always available. Cook and private dinners available, or you can just go to Chedraui in Tulum for any grocery needs. Neighbors house looms over property with three stories and high windows, so outdoor privacy is not good. The beach is quiet and relatively private.
We stayed at Casa Belleza for a week and absolutely loved it! Ana was very easy to work with and answered our many questions. The house was perfect for our family of 4. There are two master rooms upstairs and plenty of room for us downstairs, although to be honest, we spent most of our time outside at the pool and the beach! There is a large house right next door, when we were there, no one was staying at the house, so we felt very private, but until the landscape grows up, you could have neighbors pretty close to you. We used the cook a couple of times and highly recommend her! Her food is simple but absolutely delicious! The beds were really comfortable and the daily cleaning service was a nice touch. He cleaned both outside and inside. There is so much to do in the area, but when we just wanted to stay home, there was a great pool and a beach right out front. Our kids (3&5) loved it. I will say there is a very open stairway that made me a bit nervous, but as our kids used it, we became more comfortable. The rooms upstairs have an air conditioner in them, but most nights we left the windows open and loved the ocean breeze. There is a guard gate at the entrance to the neighborhood and we felt very safe. We spent most of our meals and outings in Tulum, which is about a 10-15 minute drive away, great restaurants there and lots to do. We did Xel-ha one day-although expensive, well worth it, especially if you get there early and plan to stay there the whole day. There are two large grocery stores in town, so cooking at home is easy as well. The kitchen was well stocked with basics you need. If anything was missing, there was an attendant to the house that we could ask for things and she was very quick to bring it over. We absolutely loved our time in Tankah and Tulum. If you are looking to get-away, I highly recommend this place!
This is a charming house nestled a few yards back from the ocean. Enjoy the pool and beautifully landscaped gardens, complete with a family of iguanas or sit in the shade of your own palapa (or swing in the hammocks) and listen to the waves. We loved breakfast at the table by the beach! Great kayaking and snorkeling right out the door (saw a huge manta ray one day and tons of other cool fish). Also enjoyed the snorkeling at the cenote a few steps down the road, and two doors in the other direction is a great little dive shop - Halle Jones is a wonderful instructor). If you want more action and nightlife Tulum is just a few miles down the road and you can be there in a flash. The house is a nice blend of comfort without being too fussy, and private without being so remote that you feel isolated. The daily maid service is a nice touch, and we recommend letting using the cook at least once-yum! Tulum is a fun, laid back town and we felt very comfortable there (and safe letting our teenagers wander around on their own). We hope to get back soon!
