Unfortunately our stay was not what we expected. The house was very dusty. It was apparent that it had been a awhile since dusting was done. The baseboards around the walls in all rooms were dusty. When we brought this up we were told "we will have someone paint base boards". I believe this should have been addressed prior to renting the home and not while someone is occupying it. There were dead bugs in various locations. In the first bedroom there were dead ants. The clusters were so big that originally appeared to be mold. Some of the plastic cups in the kitchen were also dirty (moldy). The pool was clean. Some of the outdoor furniture had chairs that wobbled from the unevenness of the rust found on the legs. We pushed all these chairs to the side. We felt them unsafe to be around small children. The screen surrounding the pool had various sections ripped, due to that we had little lizards everywhere (pool area). We spent our first day cleaning and sending pictures of what we found wrong. The owner request all issues to be sent to Danni whom made little to no effort in assisting us. Honestly we paid too much for this place. After spending our first day cleaning the least he could have done is attempt to satisfy us. We have spend less in the past and have had much more of a pleasant experience.
I loved the look and layout of the home but what I did not like the cable did not working in all rooms at the same time. Other than that we had a good time
We really enjoyed stay at this amazing house. It's very spacious, clean, nice, and comfortable. The pool is very big and clean. Plenty of space and patio furniture. And the spa is just amazing... We could stay there having fun all day without going anywhere else! Everything was there that we needed (towels, linens, utensils, etc). Close to all Disney and other theme parks. Only a couple of minutes to restaurants and shops. Washer and dryer worked great for us with quite a few kids. Very quiet neighborhood. We felt like we were at home. Highly recommended!!!
This property met all our wishes and more. We stayed here with 4 adults and 6 children and had more than enough space. The pool area was great with plenty of patio space around it. Communication from the owner was the best I've ever experienced. If you are looking for a property near all the attractions in Orlando I'd strongly recommend this one.
Although the bones of the home are as advertised (regarding bedrooms, baths, pool, etc.), the details left much to be desired. I don't recommend the home. The thermostat was set so that one is unable to set the temp lower than 72 degrees (likely to manage the energy bill); upon check-in, and throughout the night and next day, the temp in the home was 78 degrees, as the A/C unit was unable to cool the home in the Orlando late June heat. When I advised the management company of the issue, I was advised it was over 100 degrees that day and to "wait". After engaging the owner, the management company sent over an A/C tech, who advised the A/C unit needed to be replaced and overrode the thermostat to set the temp to 68 - this lowered the temp to 72.
We did not have enough glassware or silverware for the number of people the house sleeps and those in our party (12) - in fact, there were only several coffee mugs, three plastic cups, and no/no glasses of any kind upon arrival. When advised, the management company brought some glassware and additional silverware the following day, but should it be necessary to ask for this in a vacation home? Should one be able to set the temperature (and maintain comfort) in a vacation home?
There was damage throughout the home, including a missing electric outlet plate (bare outlet exposed) in the girls' princess room, as well as other damaged electrical plates. This was an unnecessary danger to our 1-year old (as well as our other children). The A/C tech replaced the broken outlet covers. Both outdoor trashcans at the property were completely full (trash comes on Wednesday, so some trash would be expected for a Saturday check-in, but two full trash cans' worth?). There was damage to the lanai (screen not connected to the lanai frame, as well as damage to the lanai's screen doors unnoticed by us upon check-in), that resulted in a raccoon seeking refuge in the pool area (we left no food out there) - at this point, we didn't even advise the owner, and simply chased the racoon out. We hope it wasn't rabid, but it did defecate by the pool. Other damage included dirty walls (repainting needed), poor quality billiard cues (one was cracked), and a ping pong table on top of the air hockey table that did not have a net attached.
Details matter in vacation home. Could and should be better for the price. I would not recommend the home to friends or family.
Definitely not a luxury house. It has a weird outlay. 5 bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs. Initially house looks in disarray from the outside. Hedges need trimming. Once you enter the house it is spacious, however no luxuries just the bare essentials. Bring your own pots because the ones provided are in bad condition. It is close to all attractions and the pool was a nice size. Overall we enjoyed the house however we won't be staying here again. There are houses in better conditions for the same price.
The villa home locates in a prestigious Orlando Disney Vacation community - Legacy Park. The Legacy park promises to be the highlight of vacation communities along US 27/US 192. With only 8 miles distance to Disney World main gate and 3-5 minutes to shopping malls, our villa locates in a peaceful location with an abundance of pine trees and orange groves adding to the natural beauty of the area. It is perfectly suitable for visiting all area attractions: Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, Wet 'n Wild Water Park; a number of large shopping malls and designer outlet stores in the vicinity for great shopping adventures; many dinner theaters, as well as all types of restaurants for your dining pleasure.
The community is close to many championship golf courses nearby such as Highland Reserve, Southern Dunes, Orange Lakes, Celebration. The nearest beaches (eg. Gulf coast, Daytona Beach & Cocoa Beach) can be reached within an hour.
