About Patrica Price

Harry and Patricia Price are the owners of the Foggy River Chalet. The Foggy River Cabin was first owned by Harry on his family's 65 acre farm. While in the process of the Foggy River Lodge, he met Patricia. Two years later, they were married in front of the lodge. They later built the Foggy River Chalet together. Both Harry and Patricia were born and raised in Luray.

Patrica Price purchased this chalet in 2012

Why Patrica Price chose Luray

Both Harry and Patricia have lived in Luray all of their lives. It is a small town, where everyone knows everyone. The property that the Foggy River Cabins are built on, were once owned by Harry's family.

What makes this chalet unique

The Foggy River Chalet is not only a water view, and mountain view property, but it gives travelers a feeling of seclusion without being completely out of touch.

Wonderful fully equipped cabin for the perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Patricia Price is a great host! This cabin is one of the best bargains for a relaxing vacation. Two decks (1st floor deck is huge) provide a fantastic view of the Shanendoah river. The cabin is very comfortable, including a gas fireplace and a hotub. The kitchen has everything, dishes, mixing bowls, pots, pans, crockpot, coffee maker and every untensil you’ll need. (bring your own spices). The beds are very comfortable as is the living room. We like to try different places but would definetly consider a return visit.

We spent our time going to nearby Luray Caverns, Copper Fox Distillary and various wineries - all within a 30 minute drive. If you head to the wineries or distillary, consider the Griffen Tavern in Flint Hill, simply the best.

It was the perfect mix of serenity, but yet being close to exploring the Caverns & Skyline Drive! We had an amazing time & would definitely choose the chalet again! I loved all the beautiful wood features & rocking chairs on the deck.

  • 5 of 5

My family spent the weekend here and absolutely loved it. This is a beautiful cabin. Very clean and spacious. The seclusion of the property gave us the nice relaxing weekend we were looking for. The view of the river and the mountains was breathtaking. The cabin provided most everything we needed. Patricia the owner was very friendly and accommodating. We will be returning.
