An 750 sq. foot daylight basement with beautiful view!

Our cozy 750 sq foot daylight basement apartment is a lovely budget friendly way to visit Lancaster county. It is a casual family friendly apartment decorated slightly rustic/country. We have a large bedroom with a queen size bed. A small kitchen fully stocked with basic cooking supplies. The dining area, kitchen, and large living area are all open and heated with a propane stove mounted on a stone hearth. The couch is a comfortable double pull out couch. We also can provide a hotel quality roll away or pack n play as needed. The large bath is separate and contains a stall shower. About Linda Fisher

Hi..My husband and family love living in Lancaster Co. It is a peaceful family friendly area to raise our kids. I love to garden, sew, decorate, and basically make things beautiful! We love to travel and meet new people! And are learning one of the sweetest things in life is being a grand parent!

Why Linda Fisher chose Pennsylvania Dutch Country

Visiting Lancaster Co is delightful. We are surrounded by history from the 18th century and one will feel like they are living in history when watching the farmers plow w/ oxen and enjoy horse and buggies wandering by. The craftsmanship of our local families is admirable. Quilts, furniture, aprons, garden decorating, bakeries, and the overflow of fruits and vegetables!

What makes this apartment unique

We love our property for several reasons. It is close to local shopping and schools..a small town atomosphere. But at the same time the country. We enjoy a working farm behind the steer wander watching the farm grow corn or soy beans in the field next to our home. I love the quality of soil which allows for great gardening. We most love to watch the sun rise and set from March to Nov. The sunsets are glorious and no day could start better than sitting on the porch watching the sun rise.

Very well maintained and extremely clean apartment in Lancaster countryside. Great location to see all of area attractions. Owner very nice and helpful! Beautiful view off patio of local farm. Definitely recommend to others. Check out Town Hall Restaurant nearby. Great food at an evener greater price!

Nice place, great price

  • 4 of 5

I enjoyed my stay at Dawn to Dusk. The apartment is comfortable and clean. The owner is polite, responsive, and helpful.

The area is also nice. Be sure to eat at the Town Hall Diner. The wait at the smorgasbord was an hour long, so I didn't go there.

Cozy home away from home

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was perfect for us. It was my husband, myself, and our 8 month old baby . Linda graciously provided a pack and play for our baby to sleep in. The bed was firm but comfortable. Big picture windows with blinds and blackout curtains in the bedroom. Comfy pillows and plenty of blankets. Kitchen had all the bare necessities and a well stocked keurig. Sofa and recliner were oh so comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and well stocked. The apartment is lovely but very kid friendly. Our daughter crawled everywhere. She enjoyed the toys, in fact I wasn't sure if she would leave the baby doll. The hosts were super friendly yet gave us our privacy. Responded to all our texts and even printed out an email for me. Overall I we enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend this place, and would like to come back in the future.

Wonderful Amish area getaway - loved it!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this apartment getaway. Everything we needed was right there. The rooms are all spacious and tastefully decorated and had good internet connection. We ate out most evenings but we enjoyed making breakfast and eating it on the patio. Loved my cup of tea on the swing seat! Linda is a wonderful host and we will most certainly stay again. Thank you Linda.

Inviting and comfortable!

  • 4 of 5

The apartment is much prettier than photos indicate!

Linda provided details and nice touches such as board games, movies, magazines and a great binder of things to see and do! She offered a great suggestion for traveling regarding a day trip we had planned. So thoughtful.

I have no doubt she would have gone out of her way to help us in any way.

You do hear movement and some muffled voices as you are, essentially, in a part of their house however we felt complete privacy!

Would recommend easily. We had a lovely visit. Thanks again Linda!

Our apartment is located in South Eastern Lancaster Co. There are many historical villages, antiquing, thrift shopping, outlet shopping, Pennsylvania Dutch eating and hand crafted shops spread throughout this part of the county. The Amish community and plain Mennonite surround us. It is common to hear the clip clop of buggies wandering by. Produce stands loaded with local produce reside within a few miles. There is no lack of great food, bakeries, and amish quilts or amish made furniture to enjoy.

We also are within an hours drive to Philadelphia, Valley Forge, and Harrisburg. Baltimore would be an 2 hr drive and Washington DC 3.
