This 1 bedroom apartment is an ideal alternative to a hotel with a fully furnished interior and attention to detail; you will enjoy proximity to Providence Place, the capital, train station, many colleges, and easy highway access to Boston. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the 3rd floor of a 3 family home.
Large backyard, off street parking, and fully equipped living space. Amenities include: Queen-sized Platform bed, fully equipped kitchen, microwave, coffee brewer, window fans, fresh sheets and towels, and blow dryer. There is an air mattress as well if this is necessary for extra guests.
Walking distance and convenient access to providence place, the capital, train station, i-95, colleges, hospitals, and parks. 40 minutes to Boston, Newport, Judith point (access to block island); 75 minutes to Cape Cod and southern New Hampshire.

The business model as a 'standard rental' was not conducive to a long range business plan. Short-term rentals to vacationers and the short-term tenant seemed to make more sense with all that providence and the surrounding geographies had to offer.

I stayed here for 2 months during a work assignment. The property is pet friendly with an open back yard to walk the dog. The apartment has the back door entry and a narrow climb to the 3rd floor. The actual unit is older and it does show. Everything is functional but there are some cosmetic issues. A few holes and soft spots in the walls- nothing that impacts the comfort of your stay though. The unit is actually quite large and has a bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom and dining area. There is one small tv and it is in the bedroom. Baseboard heaters keep this unit very toasty. Overall, it was a nice cozy stay. The onsite managers are very nice and maintain the grounds- I was there during winter so the walks were treated and shoveled.
I will caution to rethink this unit with anyone that has difficulty walking up steps or is older. There is only one rail on the outside staircase and it's pretty dark back there- I used a flashlight when I went out at night.
The area is an older transitional neighborhood, but it is very quiet. There is also a laundromat right down the street- within walking distance. It's a good stay for the price. 👍🏼
Place was great for me living on my own during my last term at school. Not a lot of room to have more than one or two guests stay. Ran into some problems that the landlord helped take care of as soon as he could.
