About Wendy Kapp

A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals

Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old.

While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.

Why Wendy Kapp chose Santa Fe

Location, location, location is why I chose these homes; walk everywhere.

What makes this house unique

When you stay with Two Casitas you stay like a local, not like a tourist, and experience Santa Fe like you live here. Who knows, maybe you will someday!

Wonderful property in a beautiful city!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time at this wonderful property. The furnishings and decor were very tasteful and well maintained, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast, and we especially enjoyed the enclosed patio. Location is very convenient, walking distance to Whole Foods and Shake Foundation (which has great burgers!). We stayed here with 4 adults, a 1-year old, and a small dog, and had plenty of room. This is the second Two Casitas property we've stayed at and won't consider staying anywhere else when we travel to Santa Fe. The parking in back is pretty tight, so we parked on the street instead, which was much easier.

Perfect Home Away

  • 5 of 5

Bright, super clean and comfortable! Beautiful southwest furniture gives the house a rustic elegance. We had everything we could have asked for at our fingertips. With dogs, the fully enclosed backyard is a blessing. No getting dressed in the middle of the night to let them out as we have had to do in hotels/motels. We will recommend this facility to our friends and will stay there again in the future. Thanks a million!!

Clean, comfortable, a beautiful way to vacation.

  • 5 of 5

Not one complaint! This home was well appointed and so, so comfortable. Every convenience ... from plush towels to individual climate control in every room. Trader Joe's close proximity provided us with reasonably priced goodies. Meals were easily prepared in the kitchen and on the outdoor grill. Quiet neighborhood provided many hours of relaxation. Great location. Pet friendly. Parking either in front (for our Silverado pickup) or in back (for smaller vehicles). The Two Casitas team ... awesome! A beautiful home which made for a most pleasurable vacation. Thank you!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

This single family home was perfect for our stay with our baby and pup. The yard is great for the dog and the location was perfect too. It's a 5 minute walk to Whole Foods and an easy 1 mile to the downtown plaza area. The house was in great shape and exactly as pictured. Highly recommend.
