The two bedroom apartment is perfect for a vacation in New Orleans. Just off the St. Charles street car line and a block and a half from Canal St., it provides easy access to the French Quarter and the best restaurants in the central business district. The unit is quiet, spacious, modern, and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has updated appliances, but could be better stocked with supplies for cooking and meal preparation. The combination washer/dryer works well.
Access to the unit was easy and a twenty-four hour staffed lobby is another plus.
I would certainly try to book this unit if I were returning to New Orleans for a long weekend or an extended stay.
The unit was located just a block from Canal Street, so it only took a few minutes to reach the French Quarter. Streetcar stops were in close proximity. That made it easy to get to the Garden District. The unit was spacious, nicely furnished, and well appointed. Although the concierge staff wasn't affiliated with Stay Alfred, they were helpful and friendly. This place is ideal for a double date weekend. I highly recommend it.

The 2-bedroom unit MA2 pictured in all Stay Alfred sites was NOT the unit I was put in. My unit was much smaller, did not have bay windows and the layout was different. One bedroom did not have en suite bath as pictured - bath was off of the living area. Bedrooms were so small you could barely move around the bed. I felt very deceived by the pictures. Unit was fairly clean but could be better maintained. Many light bulbs burned out. Not enough towels supplied. Unit faces another building across an alley and is extremely noisy - garbage collection at 4-5 am every day.
Maritime is in a great location with good amenities. Concierge staff very friendly and helpful.
However, I would not rent again because of the deception. Do not display photos that are clearly not the unit being rented.
Great location (really great!) but it was VERY noisy. Our stay happened to be at one of the most hectic weekends in the city, so it was really noisy outside and felt like the party is inside the house... with a baby and two toddlers, it was pretty frustrating.
We had some difficulties upon arrival - we have requested 2 pack n' plays for our kids and were only supplied with one. The phone service guy (named Ben) was kind and helpful (kudos!) but of course, we should've gotten what we asked for and not find ourselves Shlepping around the city looking for inflating mattresses (which, to be fair, was fully reimbursed by Stay Alfred immediately).
The apartment is beautiful and well equipped. Loved the design. turn-key property :)
All in all, great place - not sure that for families with young kids.
