Wonderful Little Place in a Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week and loved it. My personal favorite were the outdoor shower, and the treehouse-like porch. It's located a 5 minute walk to the beach, and the General Store is right around the corner. Also, the nature preserve and lighthouse and right there, as well as a pretty little lake to walk around. Cape May Point is the perfect, undiscovered place to visit, with its quiet, natural beaches and soothing air. The rental was great and we'd love to stay again.

Brilliant Location and the deck was great.

  • 4 of 5

It was a great location as it was an easy bike ride to the beach. The Cape May Point experience was truly wonderful as there were many things to do and it was never crowded. We will most definitely be returning this summer and next. We were able to cycle to farms, a vineyard, and Cape May town comfortably. The lack of adequate lighting at the property was a problem for us as there were only small standard lamps in the rooms. The power points in the bedrooms for some reason gave us problems as well, as our cords kept slipping out. There was only one air-conditioner so it was difficult to cool the bedrooms and the owner did not want the air-conditioner left on when you left the premises which meant the bedrooms were very difficult to cool upon your return from the beach.

Great spot in Cape May Point!

  • 4 of 5

We loved our stay and were very impressed with Nancy's grounds and the local neighborhood. Within walking distance were a local bird pond and a small birding center, the historic lighthouse with public tours, the town center green with the General Store restaurant, and the beach. It is also a very short drive to Sunset Beach and a historic WWII observation tower. The streets were very quiet making it a great spot for walking/biking around town.

The apartment was as pictured and laid out nicely. Chefs might want to bring updated pots/pans because cookware was not in great shape. We were the first stay of the season and did need to air out a general mustiness in the apt. The weather was great and we could keep the windows open which was lovely.

All in all, a great spot. Nancy was warm, efficient, and helpful! We would love to visit again.
