It is located in a quiet private condo with garden.

Contemporary one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Notting Hill, Zone 1. Professionally decorated and newly furnished. The apartment has plenty of natural light.

This apartment accommodates up to 4 (3 adults and 1 child) 2 adults in the queen size bed, 1 adult in the sofa bed and we can provide a single airbed, very comfortable and with an electric pump or a baby cot for the child which will be assembled in the bedroom upon request.

Located in very safe and eco-friendly neighborhood, the apartment is walking distance from many restaurants, shops, and local supermarkets. Transport by metro/tube and bus, are just a short walking distance away, and if you like cycling, you can grab a 'Boris bike' from the All Saints church docking station conveniently located at your door step.

High quality furnishings, fully fitted contemporary kitchen with fridge and freezer, electric hob and oven.

Notting Hill Flat

We enjoyed our stay. The flat was located in a nice, quiet residential neighborhood. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and appliances all worked well. The flat was definitely small by US standards so be prepared to get cozy! None the less, well worth the money for this place due to location. All check in details were well communicated to us by John! Thank you!

Suburban peace in a cozy apartment

The apartment is in more of a suburban area about a 10 minute walk to the underground which is filled with familiar you can see walking with their children to school each day. I felt very safe in the area and the apartment provided plenty of comfort. Upon arrival we were greeted personally and had the opportunity to ask any questions if needed. It was extremely cold outside but the space heaters were more than sufficient to keep us warm. I’d be glad to stay there again on another visit to London.

Decent flat in Notting HIll

Just a couple blocks from the heart of the Portobello Road market. 10-15 minute walk to tube stations. Great shops and pubs nearby. The flat itself was adequately appointed and had all that we needed. As noted in some of the other reviews, the bathroom is very small - but again, it was fine for the time that we were there. While it wasn't incredibly posh, it was clean, convenient and comfortable. We'd return.

Small, but convenient

The apartment is very clean and in a safe neighborhood. It is only 6 blocks from the Ladbroke Grove tube station, which is very convenient. It is also just 2 blocks from a grocery store.

It is as represented - small, but sufficient for 2 adults and 2 same-sex children. I don't think it would be comfortable for 4 adults.

The street can be a little noisy at night, but nothing you wouldn't expect in any big city. Usually quieted down after 10pm.

A few things I'd call out - no fan for hot nights. Also no top sheet - we used the duvet cover. It would be nice to have a top sheet or very light blanket. There were many heavier blankets for cool nights.

We did run into a problem with the hot water, as someone else did. It was immediately fixed, but I would suggest testing it on arrival, so that is handled right away.

Also - there is no 'housekeeping' during your stay, which is mentioned in the information provided. I did not understand this to mean that we would not get any clean towels or have any extra towels available. We were provided just 4 bath and 4 hand towels for 4 people. Staying 9 nights, we needed to wash them (in the provided machine) and hang them to dry. This worked fine, but I think this should be understood - in the past, staying at other properties, we had extra towels, so washing was not necessary.

Overall, a good spot for a family or couple who just need a place to sleep, shower and maybe eat some breakfast before getting out on the tube to see all the great sites London has to offer!

The flat was fine, the circumstances were not.

The flat was well situated in Notting Hill and a block away from Portobello Road. There are many pubs; grocery stores; restaurants; and cafes near the premises. There is also a municipal bike rental kiosk next to the premises, which was very convenient. The premises was clean and well maintained.

As others have mentioned, the washroom is a very tight space due to the placement of the hot water heater. I am 6'3" and using the facilities was a significant challenge. I had full disclosure of this issue from the listing description, but I underestimated the challenge.

There was a significant negative aspect of our stay at the flat. The flat was adjacent to a flat that was being completely renovated. Construction/demolition noise started at 0730 every morning and was non-stop throughout the day. This was very frustrating after late nights at the theatre or long days of sight-seeing. We emailed our contact and while he was responsive, he was unable to affect any change.

It was a case of bad timing; however, we did not receive "quiet enjoyment" of the premises, which is unfortunate when the cost of the rental was significant.
